Covid in Norway—Calling out the Naked Emperor Edition
New official numbers for week 2: no more age differences between unvaxxed and triple-jabbed hospitalisations; the rate of triple-jabbed with serious progressions of Covid appears to be quickening
I’m kinda dying to produce another update on Covidistan, but before we to this point in time, let’s briefly take stock of the consequences of my last two posts on Norway. In this week’s detailed posts (here and here), I first called out the Institute of Public Health (IPH) for sloppy data handiwork.
I then moved to analyse the available data, which yielded stunning insights into the catastrophic public policy response to all matters Covid-19. I looked at hospitalisations, ICU admissions, and deaths from week 39 (2021) through week 1 (2022), and I only considered data from after the ‘vaccines’ were rolled out in Norway: 28 Dec. 2021.
My findings, based entirely on the IPH’s own data as compiled in their weekly reports, shocked me:
Hospitalisations among ‘all-cause vaccinated’ (1, 2, and/or 3 jabs) are up 358% since week 39, compared to +30% among ‘the unvaccinated’.
ICU admissions for/with Covid among ‘all-cause vaccinated’ are up 422%, compared to +29% among the ‘unvaccinated’.
Finally, Covid-associated deaths among ‘all-cause vaccinated’ are up 528% in the same time period, and I’ve been pointing to much-higher (as in 4 out of 5) vaccinees dying of/with Covid vs. ‘the unvaccinated’ virtually throughout autumn of 2021.
Privately, I’ve been following the IPH’s weekly reports closely for many months, and while I freely admit that the general hospitalisation data is perhaps the most unsurprising issue (after all, due to high levels of ‘vaccine’ uptake in Norway, there are about 10 times as many vaccinees as there are unvaccinated), this doesn’t explain the disproportionately high ICU admissions and deaths among them.
And now the IPH, just yesterday, came out with new numbers for week 2 (10-16 Jan. 2022), and they are exceptionally bad, that is, if you’re among those who went for a ‘booster jab’.
By week 2, the combined total of ‘fully vaccinated with 2 doses’ and ‘fully vaccinated and boosted’—which I refer to as ‘all-cause vaccinated’—has again exceeded the share of unvaccinated hospitalisations.
While the overall numbers are sinking, in week 2 (p. 12-13) there were 112 new hospitalisations, of whom 47 (46%) were unvaccinated vs. 51 (50%) who were twice (24 or 24%) or triple-jabbed (27 or 26%).
Disingenuously, the report goes on to emphasise that ‘since week 49, the share of unvaccinated hospitalisations was higher than the share of basic-immunised [grunnvaksinert]’.
Leaving aside the sudden new introduction of the category ‘basic-immunisation’ (which I couldn’t find on the IPH’s website, by the way; if you do, please let me know in the comments), if you’d care to go to the weekly report from week 49 (p. 12; see here for my take), there is no such category: there’s ‘only’ two categories, ‘fully vaccinated’ and ‘unvaccinated’, even though ‘partially vaccinated’ and those who were recently boosted are subsumed under the category ‘fully jabbed’.
Be that as it may, there’s also the by now conventional reference to the IPH’s problematic study on length-of-stay in hospitals (p. 13), but at least someone—and intern, perhaps?—finally linked to the more current version. But I digress.
There are but two things that we can learn from this report: first, the rate at which ‘triple jabbed’ Norwegians are hospitalised is quickening, as per fig. 7 (p. 14):
Still, if you’d like to grasp this disaster-in-the-making, have a look at table 5 in weeks 52, week 1, and week 2. There, you can see the utter catastrophe with respect to whatever the booster jabs are doing, and there’s no escaping this:
Week 52, table 5 (p. 13):
Week 1, table 5 (p. 13):
Week 2, table 5 (p. 13):
Just look at the column entitled ‘Totals’ (Antall) in the ‘Last 4 Weeks’ (Siste 4 uker): the numbers for both ‘unvaccinated’ and ‘fully vaccinated’ are sinking, but the numbers for those who took at third jab are going up.
Also, take a look at the median age of those who received a third jab—and end up in the ICU and/or on the ventilator: the age difference between triple jabbed and unvaccinated appears to be gone. (Although, to be fair, there’s only three weeks of published data to go with this kind of ‘analysis’; so far, this might be a data artefact, but still, it’s something that I noticed.)
Any thoughts?
Is this why the narrative is suddenly collapsing, or are they changing it because of this data? What is happening in your country? Overnight we went from mania to live with the virus.
On a separate note:
Only 6,183 people died solely of COVID-19 in England & Wales
And only 833 under 60s.

If omicron is as mild as they say, the sick patients in the hospital are most likely people in cancer treatment, or immunosuppressed because of transplants or terrible autoimmune disease and such. Vaccinated or not is not going to make a difference, since their immune system does not work properly.
Check the percentage of the triple vaccinated with moderate/high risk, about 86% for hospitalizations, and 97% for ICU.
