In the interest of their economic freedom, shop owners should demand the lifting of the house arrest on the unvaccinated. Wouldn't it be good for them if the protesters took the opportunity to connect the protest with some nice little shopping?

Sadly, your wonderful proposition won't be taken up.

At this point, I think one might quote the US declaration of independence and its argument for revolution, i.e., when government becomes arbitrary, dissent transcends the status of a civic virtue; instead, it becomes a civic duty.

Whilst in the UK, there have been signs of backing down over mandates, the Covid passports remain and their use being extended to children.

Didn't BoJo announce the end of these measures? That is insane.

He announced end of mandatory covid passes but said companies are free to use them. He then said he is extending the covid pass for children to use. They clearly aren't going away in a hurry.
