Covid in Austria: Prof. Thalhammer Shit-Talks 'the Unvaxxed', but it's a Lie--at a venue financed with Big Pharma Money

As early as mid-March 2022, 'vaccinated' patients constituted around 82-83% of all Covid-related hospitalisations (in Norway). It's worse now. Let's hope more people will wake up before too long…

I cannot tell you utterly absurd the situation in Covidistan has become: no more quarantine obligation, effective for about four weeks now, was met with howls from among the most notorious Covid hawks.

If you’re ever in need of an abject lesson in ‘cognitive dissonance’, well, here goes:

Severity of Covid-19

I herewith propose to consider ‘hospitalisation for Covid-19 as main cause’ a useful proxy to assess disease severity. Unfortunately for everyone, however, these data, if available, cannot be reasonably compared—as some countries, such as Norway, stopped reporting injection differentials to OWID in mid-March while other countries, such as Austro-Covidistan, never really bothered to share these data with the public in the first place. Caution is advised when looking at the below visualization, courtesy of OWID:

Note that, if you place your cursor on the last available data point, which was 22 March 2022, you’d get these two numbers:

• Austria: 368.86

• Norway: 86.43

In that particular week 12 of 2022, according to official Norwegian data ‘B.C.’ (before crapification, which see here), there were 329 new hospitalisations for Covid-19 as main cause, of whom 272 had received at least two doses (grunnvaksinerte), possibly more (Tab. 1, p. 5, reproduced below. These 272 or 329 hospitalisations constituted some 82-83% of the total, while a mere 34 (or 10%) of these hospitalisations befell ‘the unvaccinated’.

The only way this looks perhaps a bit ‘odd’ is that the incidence per 100,000 is higher among ‘the unvaccinated’, but this may be due to their overall lower numbers. As that same report maintains (p. 3), as of 27 March 2022 a full 73% of the entire population had received two doses of any Covid-19 injection, with 53% of the entire population even having taken a ‘booster’ injection. In other words: since Omicron arrived, infectious dynamics were primarily, and overwhelmingly so, a thing that pertained to ‘the vaccinated’

If we wish to more fully grasp the absurdity of these facts, why not remember some of the headlines pushed by ‘respected legacy media outlets’, such as these here:

‘Unvaccinated New York State Judge Could Be Removed’, reported the NYT on 22 March 2022, among other things.

‘Costs of going unvaccinated in America are mounting for workers and companies’, by Joshua Schneyer, which appeared on Reuters on 25 March 2022.

‘A third of the world remains totally unvaccinated against COVID: Tedros’, as per a United Nations news bulletin dated 30 March 2022.

If you’d looked at the above data that was publicly available (and some then-anonymous internet sleuths reported about this, on which see here), you’d notice the massive cognitive dissonance between what public health officialdom admitted to vs. what legacy media reported.

May we still call this ‘media bias’?

You know, as an aside, I’m old enough to remember phrases (from self-identifying conservatives) that legacy media ‘has a liberal bias’. Well, turns out that media has a bias, but it’s not liberal—these days, it’s obviously tilted quite decisively towards authoritarianism and tyranny, to say nothing about its bias towards spreading misinformation, but then again, perhaps this is my age talking…

Back to Covidistan

The little bits and pieces of information coming out of Norway ever since indicate that this already very lopsided proportion between ‘vaccinated’ (1-4 doses) vs. ‘unvaccinated’ got even worse in the half-year since mid-March.

As I’ve explained three weeks ago, if you’re in Norway, and if you’ve taken any number of these injections, you’re 10 times—yep, an order of magnitude—more likely to, sadly, experience a severe course of Covid-19 (as defined above, i.e., require hospitalisation for Covid-19).

Still, as I’ve documented as recently as yesterday, all the Institute of Public Health (IPH) is doing these days is: ‘recommending’ more of the same, i.e., more injections, in the face of all evidence.

If the Norwegian numbers bear any relation to their counterparts in Austro-Covidistan, then the above-related numbers would be 80-90% ‘all-cause vaccinated’, i.e., the ‘vaccinated’ are quite likely, and massively so, driving epidemiological dynamics.

Oh, lest I forget, as I mentioned in the above-related mumbo-jumbo coming from the IPH, infectious pressure is, of course, ‘unrelated to vaccination status’. In other words: it doesn’t matter how many of these injections one took, because Omicron (BA.4/5) evades it virtually completely. Another way of saying this would be that any ‘booster’ injection currently has about a 5% impact in terms of eliciting an antibody response to BA.4/5, as explained (in German) by this video.

You can also say that taking a ‘booster’ will not meaningfully change anything, but then again, those in power have long departed the ‘reality-based community’.

Acknowledgement thereof indicates that advocating for yet another ‘booster’, as well as voluntarily taking of such an intervention, is tantamount to a kind of intelligence test. The uptake quota will tell us about the proportion of those fellow citizens 18 years and older who, quite frankly, fail this intelligence test—as the IPH has already done.

Media Hogwash, Covidistan Style

This is no difference from Austro-Covidistan, as a brief selection of media items shows:

Take, say, reporting on what transpired at the ‘Praevenire’ conference in Alpbach in the Tyrol, which took place last weekend. According to legacy media portal vienna.at, this is what Prof. Florian Thalhammer, President of the Austrian Society of Infectious, or Communicable, Diseases, had to say (my emphases):

We have too little individual responsibility. We should be ‘immunised’ against this…We talk about basic immunisation [Grundimmunisierung] with a three-dose protocol. An infection is an immunological event, but it does not count as a vaccination. The ‘fourth jab’ is explicitly recommended for all age groups older than five.’ Vaccine effectiveness is extremely high with 95 per cent, he said. ‘Along with the flu shot, the Covid vaccine is “emperor”.’ Influenza vaccines protect only 50 to 60 per cent.

I don’t know where to start on this one: who, Dr. Thalhammer, would do the ‘immunisation’ against ‘too little individual responsibility’? Will you go from door to door and offer ‘counselling’?

Then: why do you trash-talk natural immunity, which is, by all accounts (summary in German, dated 10 Nov. 2021, by the way), longer-lasting than, say, its injection-induced counterpart?

Also: would you consider it a lie if I told you that the National Vaccination Consortium, via the Health Ministry’s website, (click on the top-listed link), considers a fourth injection as something ‘recommended’ for the age cohorts 60+, immunocompromised, and individuals otherwise at elevated risk 12 and older (pp. 19-20):

It’s even highlighted in the original: ‘a booster injection (4th injection) is thus no generally recommended for individuals [aged 12-59], and this recommendation is also valid for immunocompromised healthcare workers.’

Dr. Thalhammer, you’re a misinformation spreader and a liar.

And, I’d add, Dr. Thalhammer, if there’s actually ‘too little individual responsibility’, it is squarely on part of the country’s political caste, the expert advisors, and physicians like you.

I sincerely hope that, at some point in the not too-distant future, you and your ilk will face the consequences of your actions. I shall keep the receipts.

Speaking of receipts, a bit further below in that vienna.at piece (but it was also reported elsewhere in Covidistan media), Dr. Thalhammer doubled down on this lie and stated:

Those who don’t get vaccinated [against Covid-19] will end up in IUC wards and go home via the pathology wards. I think that needs to be said clearly.

Really? Would you care to actually look at the evidence, or at least cite anything in support of such crass statements?

Also, as regards the children, dear Dr. Thalhammer, would you mind taking note that your Danish colleagues went on national TV in mid-June 2022 and admitted that pushing these injectable products on children was, in fact, ‘wrong’.

Oh, never mind citing evidence or providing anything but crude and shitty propaganda. If that is the current state of ‘academic medicine’, I suppose we’re fine without you guys.

Lest I forget, the ‘Praevenire’ retreat—whose parent institution (‘Praevenire’), also runs an ‘Initiative 2030’, advocating for ‘health reforms’—is done in cooperation with ‘Peri Online Experts’.

Now, it’s kinda bad enough that ‘Praevenire’ proudly declares its list of ‘partners’, which include, among others, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lilly, Merck, Pfizer, and a whole lot of other state and corporate institutions.

As if this wouldn’t scream CONFLICTS OF INTEREST to anyone who’d care to read this, here’s the ‘partnerships’ by the Peri Group, as detailed on their website:

I suppose that it’s harder to look for a pharmaceutical company that’s actually *not* on that list, eh?

Silver Linings? Rather: Mixed Bag

So, you all know that I wrote an Open Letter to the Education Minister calling upon him and the Committee of Public Safety masquerading as federal government to leave the kids alone:

Now, I don’t know if anyone ever cared enough to actually read my letter, but at least, as reported on 24 Aug. 2022 by state broadcaster ORF Online, a ‘school start like before the pandemic’ is to be expected.

While ‘the concrete rules are not to be announced until next week’, ORF Online maintained, yet ‘at least for the time being, students and teaching staff will be spared Covid tests and masks’.

I think this is as good news as it gets, and this is why I wrote ‘silver lining’.

And then I saw that, despite the government’s most recent considerations that explicitly forbid individual states from imposing harsher measures than the federal gov’t, I saw this piece, which went live earlier today (26 Aug.) on wien.orf.at:

With the start of the new kindergarten year, the PCR lollipop tests are being rolled out to all municipal and private kindergartens. Starting Monday [29 Aug.], the educational institutions will receive these test kits. The testing is voluntary.

Note that these ‘voluntary’ tests are for children aged 1-3.

Please, people of Austria, get ready to fight for your children.

Don’t let these people get away with this crap (again).
