Hey look over there! Putin! Trump! Someone from insert-opposition-party-name-here said something once on social media! Hey! Hey! Eurovision! Hey! Squirrel! Hey!

And it works. It works cheap and easy.

My brother's wife's sister is an MD. Mentioning stuff like this? La-la-la-I-can't-hear-you-you're-not-trained-you-can't-understand-the-science. Trying to e-mail links to reports such as this one to the Swedish Doctor's Journal? They'll block your e-mail. Trying to post it in their comments-section? Block-block-block.

And looking back through time - every single time a medication or a treatment has been questioned, the doctors have reacted the exact same way. What kind of psychological condition does MDs share throughout time and space, that make them behave like priesthood guarding sacred orthodoxy instead before all else?

Over here, they have clandestinely and without informing people started to perform alcohol/drug tests whenever someone leaves a blood sample. People have had their driving licenses revoked for no other reason than that their PEth-test showed elevated levels of fosfatetyldianol. Not stopped for drunk driving, not testing positive for alcohol when stopped by police but doctors have done the tests in secret when the schmuck thought he was in for a PSA test or something.

What the F is wrong with people in the medical profession?

Of course, if you're not a credentialed 'expert™', thou shalt not speak of it.

As to the matter at-hand, I think the medical profession is in tatters because of the way they are trained: first, 6 years of rote learning followed by 3 years of residency to obtain some practical experience. At every step of the way, students are told to follow orders, guidelines, and avoid financial troubles for the hospital, which amounts to 'don't rock the boat'.

Once a state of emergency comes along, guess what happens, esp. if you'd add the monetary incentive of whatever amount that was paid out to volunteers in the pop-up clinics (25-30 euros per jab).

Sounds like why some people become teachers. Low bar for entry (since the early 2000s), and you get to be the boss because you teach children. And of course, CYA by rote compliance with political mandates.

Entirely the wrong mindset.

The next 7 months I will be very anxious as I'm to become a grandmother for the first time. I am just full of angst knowing what I do but trying to keep level headed. We've already one dead newborn in the extended family, Sept 2023.

Oh my, I'm so sorry to read this.

This is precisely why I wrote that I hate posting about this.

Don't be sorry, this needs reporting. Two other babies born I know, one, a great niece and a grandchild of a friend and they both are fine, so far. Interestingly, both these babies weighed over 4kg, one 4.5kg.

I know this needs reporting, still doesn't mean I can't be sorry about this tragedy.

I knew I should have kept quiet, just in case, which happened this morning. My daughter has miscarried in hospital today. They are both devastated. Although she was only 10 weeks, they'd already done a private scan which showed a very strong heart beat only last week. I'm kind of numbed right now.

So I hear that Pope Francis is about to pass on from this world to the next. What I'm hearing is that he's in the hospital with thrombocytopenia and multiple lung infections. I will be especially interested to know what you have to say about this news, and in particular, what people in Austria think about this, and about what comes afterwards.

Well, his condition (if true) also caught my eye. So far, there's very little in terms of reporting on the pope, and I doubt there's much to come before the announcement of his passing. Then it's probably a bit like the last conclave time--reality TV. I'll keep an eye on it, no worries.

Pope Francis, who once said that "vaccinating" is an "act of charity"?....

We can bet everything without any risk that the old man ("vulnerable group", 88+) has been vaccinated several times and recently had his annual "flu jab", which is why he is probably now in an acute state of detoxification, because even a very old, very sick body is still trying to restore and repair by its mechanism of homeostasis. His kidneys will have great difficulty with this because his lymphatic system is sluggish due to being in a wheelchair. A person without a "flu jab" rarely or never has renal insufficiency. This is a characteristic of old people who regularly go for "vaccinations".

But why the whole world is desperately praying for his recovery is a mystery to me. Is it not the greatest achievement of a believing Christian to unite with his Creator? But now it looks as if the Pope is very attached to his earthly life instead of looking forward to eternal life.

It's VAIDS, for that's what the T cell count looks like a few years in. Oh my, what a future, eh?
