The Northeastern US is now rationing home heating oil, and the price has skyrocketed just now to approximately $775/month to heat an average home. IF you can schedule a delivery, they only give you a half tank. IF more can be had to refill the tanks in a month or so, the price will certainly be even higher.

Recent reports of 25 days of diesel in US storage with no global supply to tap. One report had Biden commandeering a shipment of diesel meant for Europe. Price here is over 5 USD today. I bought a locking cap for my pickup truck which is full of fuel and not being used very much right now...

The carnage is just about to begin!

I've seen these press reports; the situation looks 'calm' here, as most legacy media won't cover these issues at-all.

If you're right, I suppose that it'll hit people like a lightning strike out of a clear, blue sky.

People have a way of noticing that they've gotten poorer, even when the media fails to tell them about it...

Many Americans would love to nuke Moscow, but only as long as it doesn't mean they have to pay more at the gas station.

We'll see how the situation develops. Ukraine is toast either way (i.e. with or without WWIII), but it remains to be seen if the economic pain will be enough to get Western countries to change course and avoid those elegant mushroom clouds...

Many? I only hear any goofy justification of nukes from the fringes who are bought in and awaiting the effects of their fifth booster.

Well... I'm following this from Central Europe, and that's what it sounds like to me. But maybe I'm off. On the other hand, much of the American establishment is into the fifth booster (and nukes?), so it may not matter what the average American does or does not think...
