This is not a single-issue substack
So this is a Q&A, "wishlist", and whatever else you'd like to discuss sticky post--fire away!
Here is a small announcement that will allow you, my dear readers (subscribers), to ask questions, bring up interesting issues, and share their thoughts that are not found in the items I publish. For more general information, please see my first two posts (here and here) to explore, in a little bit more detail, why I elected to start this substack.
In other words, this sticky post serves as ‘Open Thread’, of sorts.
EDIT: lest this announcement sounds (way) too preposterous, here’s a bit more about me.
In my offline life (yes, I have one), I’m a parent of two and a professor of post-medieval European history (that would be after, say, 1350), with extensive higher education experience in ‘western’ academia, incl. visiting professorship at an American Ivy League University.
WHAT THIS MEANS, I propose to you, is that you can be reasonably sure that I won’t pester you with useless and unfounded horse manure. I also posit that you understand as to why, at this time, I shall continue posting without revealing my identity. I trust you all understand.
/EDIT
Fire away, and I shall try my best to keep up with you.
1. I would like to see more people with current clinical experience come out. People like Drs Ryan Cole, Marik, Wax, McCullough, et al; especially on the actual ingredients of the vaxes are; the actual process and experience of jabbing people.
2. A big picture analysis of WHY so that we can anticipate what their plans might be.
3. Generally, more original analysis and rebuttal
4. A review of words vs. outcomes. People tend to focus on the latest scam and not realise the credibility of those who are pimping. For example, had I known of the records of Frauci and Neil Ferguson I suspect anyone who quotes them with approval or an authority. In order to know our opponents, we need to know their history.
5. Remember that the audience are mainly laypeople, so don't overwhelm them with granula data. Clear, simple charts are very useful. Always source any data or chart, since people are very quick ask for links.
6. Sometimes people forget and focus on the current issues only, so we need to remind of the important one from time to time. so that they don't lose the forest for the cases.
7. Some pari passu rebuttal of some influential players. We need to expose their lack of credibility to people.
I think your expertise in post-medieval European history could give you some unique insights into parallels many of us may be unaware of. Maybe examine cases of mass hypnosis throughout history (and how the spells were broken!), evolving attitudes toward medicine and health, various instantiations of tyranny, and so on—whatever you feel is relevant to what we are experiencing today.
I also especially enjoy your slice-of-life episodes detailing what life is like for you and your family as you resist the encroaching totalitarianism.
