Australia checking in, looking at 30-35C and shaking its head at your 'heat.'

Relatedly, 'locking down' in a heatwave is a guaranteed way to quickly kill millions especially given the fragile Euopean energy situation. For God's sake, do not comply.

It's getting ever weirder by the hour seemingly.

Legacy media is 'reporting' that 'extreme heat is deadly'; source: https://www.wetter.at/wetter/oesterreich-wetter/so-gefaehrlich-ist-die-extrem-hitze-fuer-uns/562380403

Some 'experts' are now calling for the mandatory introduction of a 'heat break' (siesta', in Italian), i.e., temporary lockdowns once the temperature exceeds, say, somewhere around 25-30 degrees Centigrade; source: https://www.wetter.at/wetter/oesterreich-wetter/mega-hitze-experten-fordern-jetzt-siesta-fuer-alle/562348939

I don't know what to say about it. It's too stupid, but then again, the cultists will comply no matter what.

In Australia there are 'stop work' triggers for some unionised or government outdoor jobs - like if it hits 40C and you are doing certain highly physical jobs like paving the road where the interface conditions are like 50-60C. This to me is sensible.

When I have worked outside I have never run into this, however. Like for instance in a job such as landscaping and it is 40-45C one simply naturally stops work before 11am because you feel like you will combust, and work a bit later. Yet, it is your choice and no one forces you. Many people work throughout the day with no problem, staying hydrated and taking rests, perhaps a nap.

The weirdest heat propaganda I recently heard was from the US, where everyone was freaking out that a man died in Death Valley. As far as I know, that is why it has been called Death Valley since the pioneer days - the extreme heat.

25-30C is quite beautiful and are fine conditions for outdoor work, even very physical. Unless, perhaps, one is pumped full of spike proteins...

Edit: oh my God I just heard a news story that "kidney stones in children is due to climate change."

HERE IT IS: https://scitechdaily.com/climate-change-will-lead-to-increase-in-kidney-stones/

Did they look at contamination in the water supplies? I want off this crazy ride!

Sounds like Oz isn't far behind the Old World, if at-all.

We had comparable reg's, too, but somehow they don't satisfy the powers that be anymore…

By what right do they do this?

Surely, Germany and Austria both have constitutions and laws regulating and limiting when coercive measures of this kind may be attempted?

Refuse. When they say "You must." say "No! Your move!"

Look at the turks, arabs and negros in both Germany and France. Did they comply? Heck no they didn't, they went about business as usual - because the authorities knows if they push them even a little you get riots.

And then the authorities back down - if there's one thing we need to learn from the invaders, it's that you can fight off authority prettymuch forever long as you are ready to use force en masse as a collective.

Might makes right, if I recall.

Also, you're spot-on, and 'voluntary' (socially/peer-pressure-enforced) conformism is perhaps worse in Nordic societies.

Jante is hard to free oneself from, it's true.

"You are not to think you're anyone special, or that you're better than us."

Sandemose's summation of the very negative trait of keeping everyone down at the same level is still contentious.
