It looks very much like the way CIA and FBI personnel have infiltrated and established co-operation with US news channels and papers, over the years.
Superficilally to protect the nation against nefarious foreign and domestic threats, but in reality to the sole benefit of cabals within the state (Clinton, Obama and the Democrat party).
More or less identical to how it's been done here for 50+ years, but in Sweden, all of it has been done in the open from the get-go, thanks to the Jounralists' College started by the Socialist Democrat party under the aegis of Olof Palme, in the 1960s. This has ensured that 99 out of 100 journalists are almost completely in line with party orders, without any formal control.
By the by, I'm assuming german mainstream media is ignoring this - and I don't have to assume they ignore how this is almost identical to how it is done in Russia. But then of course, to modern-day progressives and pomos, "it's not the same when we do it".
Exactly. I'd only add that this is nothing 'new' or 'special', with one difference to the pre-internet days: these days, there's a lot of evidence online about these shenanigans.
By the way, somewhat OT, but since you're in Sweden, I'll ask anyways: in that piece, I mentioned Willy Brandt, West Germany's former chancellor--as far as I know 'Brandt' is also a nome de plume (from Wikipedia):
'Fleeing to Norway and then Sweden during the Nazi regime and working as a left-wing journalist, he took the name Willy Brandt as a pseudonym to avoid detection by Nazi agents, and then formally adopted the name in 1948.'
His birth name was Herbert Ernst Karl Frahm, he was among the more left-radical factions in the 1930s, and the 'scandal' that led to his resignation revolved around one of his close advisors becoming 'outed' as an informant for the East German State Security (Stasi). Wikipedia also notes that, 'in 2021, it became known that Brandt served as a paid informant for the US Counterintelligence Corps from 1948 to 1952'.
More to the point, I'd be interested if you know any (scholarly) works about Brandt's time in Sweden and the kind of activities he engaged in?
He was very active as a journalist in Sweden during the war, and even dared to visit Oslo during the occupation. From what I could find from a cursory search, his main friends and associates in Sweden was Olof Palme and Bruno Kreisky, and Brandt combined his journalistic work and his writing of books about his visions for post-war Germany with acting as co-ordinator and contact for the norwegian worker's party and some kind of pan-european coalition of socialist democrat parties.
Kreisky and Brandt and Palme (I think it was all three) also published a book together about their vision for democratic socialism in Europe, the title in swedish is Brev och samtal (Letters and talks), it was published in german in 1976 according to the article I found - which focused mainly on Brandt's post-war work.
Brandt also travelled throughout occupied territories using as cover the name of a norwegian friend of his, Gunnar Gaasland. In declassified files from the swedish SÄPO (Sicherheitsdienst) it was recealed that Brandt also provided information to Special Operations Executive, presumably about Wehrmacht forces in Norway. You'd have to contact SÄPO to get copies of the actual documents, I'm afraid, no-one seems to have posted them and SÄPO's public files aren't searchable online as far as I know.
Another book he participated in creating together with among others Gunnar and Alva Myrdal is "Die Friedensziele der Demokratischen Sozialisten", again about the creation of pan-european democratic socialism. One of Brandt's associates, Herbert Wehner, was imprisoned in Sweden on suspicion of being a soviet agent.
I did find an excellent biography page about Brandt, complete with links to various documents:
Self-destruct seems to be the common goal for governments these days.

That's a good reference, thanks a lot!
