This on the "migrants on strike"-level of stupidity, almost to the "forty year old men are children"-rapeugee idiocy perpetrated by swedish media in 2015.

You'd have to go to Twitter, or X, to grasp its idiocy, though.

E.g., Correctiv also 'edited' parts of their 'coverage' in an attempt to sell a book--and after its deputy editor-in-chief denied to have used the word 'deportation', the announcement still mentioned it. (Needless to say, if you listen to, say, Mr. Trump's campaign speeches, well, rules for thee, but not for me…)

As I said, this is beyond the pale; if you'd follow the Twitter account 'ÖRR Blog', you can see numerous instances in which legacy media outlets ask 'protestors' who work for--either legacy media outlets or are members of the governing parties. It's a bit like a farcical version of late-Soviet régimes, which gives this entire shit-show a particularly absurd touch.

Late-stage Soviet?

More like 1980s Sweden. Every protest against the Socialist Democrat governement, state and state-loyal capitalist-owned media inevitably found some druniken skinhead, or someone from some acronym-communist group, or even some fan of Baader-Meinhof and tried to make it seem they were representative, sometimes even representatives of the protest in the background.

When christian groups protested the virtually unlimited abortion-law, they singled out american fundamentalists visiting and the least media-aware people they could to interview.

Top of my list is when they managed to use two old-guard Stalinists with placards of Stalin and Pol Pot as representatives of a march - 10 000 strong - protesting against neonazis.
