Oh there will be rationing, never doubt that. Also, there will be confiscation of goods, livestock and such as well as of houses (Summer homes and such) because there won't be money nor resources to repair or replace the high-rises built during the 1960s and 1970s.

And people do need to live somewhere, and "the market" won't build a single shed - what better market can there be for capitalists, than when there's a lack of essentials, combined with internal strife and turmoil?

Look into Norway's ability to feed its own population. For Sweden, it's disastrous: under 30% of our minimum amount of food (assuming no problems with distribution). The only food item we're self-sufficient in is carrots.

Norway is even worse off, I'd bet.

The first sign of true impending crisis will be when mainstream media, politicians and capitalists start openly blaming all the problems on "the darkies", being hurt and tearful about how much we have paid to help insert-ethnicity-here, and now when we need help their home-nations refuse to return the favour. Outrage! Unfair! How dare they! and so on.

Then they'll try to deport people for real, and the US future Democrat president, and possibly the EU, and absolutely the home nations, will all oppose this, for various reasons.

And assuming a nationalist Russia still being around for this, Russia-China will be the axis extending help.

And the people will demand it, and Russia and China will rejoice in claiming the North as vassal-states, and the EUSA-London axis will violently oppose this, and various islamic states and factions will fund armed mobs and paramilitary ganfs, and the Nordic states will flounder, unable to handle it all.

All possible except for one thing: there are no rare natural resources here warranting any action at all. Most probable scenario is that we will be ignored when we plummet back towards early 19th century standards.

Re food sufficiency: it's about 40% I read a few months ago, but since there's no 'back-up' plan in regards to, say, cash-less payments or the unresolved issues of refrigeration being needed (required) for most (highly processed) food™ people appear to eat o'er here, it's all a question of 48-72 hours before the first food riots. I suppose the situation is (way) worse with respect to tap water because people don't pay for it (at least in Vestland).

I'm even unsure if Norway is self-sufficient in any foodstuff as everything produced over here is so dependent on foreign-made materials, starting with diesel fuel, ranging from artificial fertilisers to livestock feed to virtually everything else required for farmers. Just one example--in my neck of the woods, two generations ago, small farmsteads would support perhaps a dozen of animals (a handful of sheep, a draught horse or pony, a milk cow, and several chicken); these days, if you wish to 'break even' (that is, in terms of being able to make monthly interest payments for your loans), you need, e.g., 100 cows for meat production plus a second income. Last year, my neighbour had 250+ sheep on a lot that's way, way too small to support that number of livestock w/o imported, somehow manageable artificial feed.

You write: 'Most probable scenario is that we will be ignored when we plummet back towards early 19th century standards.'

That's a kind of hopeful scenario, for I envision massive bouts of rage once the realisation sets in that people were had--it doesn't matter if this is due to, say, the Russsia hoax, climate change™, or the Covid shitshow (perhaps a combo, plus some extras)--and Humpty Dumpty, once broken, is hard to put together again on limited resources, esp. if these require imports.

Hence, I'd add a plot twist (w/respect to the common collectivist insanity ruling these days): that kind of 'future (past)' will be both 'uneven' and 'combined', meaning that certain areas--think: places with, e.g., small-scale energy production--will be better off in some regards but face 'other' problems, esp. concerning food production.

This will result in mass starvation, as in the early 19th century, most places except for big cities were quite self-sufficient in terms of both the amount of food produced as well as in regards to 'practical' skills, such as carpentry, construction, hunting/fishing, etc. (plus most people were accustomed to that kind of manual labour).

"A sane and realist EU leadership would pursue both strategies."

Oh come on now, Europe doesn't need hydrocarbons. By the time the wells in Norway deplete, they'll have as much dirt-cheap energy as anyone could want from clean, green renewables.

Right? ;)

Sure.

I'd also have a bridge--or a ship tunnel (no kidding)--to sell to you, if you're interested.

Basically, the EU made itself dependent on Norway (which will, quite unlikely, never attack Ukraine), but the problem is the even the medium-term: the last major gas field took countless amounts of money to put online. It also took 9 (!!!) years from discovery to production.

Every now and then, my wife 'complains' that, being 'redpilled' (which I'm using as shorthand for 'being aware'), for life would be less…troubling. My typical answer is--that's a short-term, unsustainable proposition for it makes the awakening only way more rude the later it happens.

Yes, indeed, I absolutely empathise with her sentiment and then I also completely agree with you, I am where I am and I am grateful I can see (at least some, enough to be wary of most).

"The Lights are Going out Over Europe" … "A sane and realist EU leadership would pursue both strategies."

The EU exists to destroy Europe. Climate bs and mass invasion have Europe already made "dysfunctional" (~17:00 in the video) as part of the plan that only a few dare to see because it cannot be what is not allowed to be.

Watch Christopher Jon Bjerknes' latest video:

"KABBALAH of Armilus Trump in the Middle East" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGu7fw0JFT8

Bjerknes (with Norwegian roots): "Trump … making his Mid-East trip … to subvert the western powers and to enable the Behemoth powers to annihilate the West, ultimately to help Jewry its quest, its Jew's mission to exterminate white Europeans."
