The "Germany was innocent" or pushed to war-narrative was very common among neo-nazis during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
The story being that Germany was trying to defeat bolshevism before Stalin invaded and conquered all of Europe. And that the "Wall Street jews" manipulated the british and the americans to attack Germany instead, because bolshevism is a cover for zionist supremacy.
It must be very comfortable to have religious/political beliefs that are so illogical and unconcerned with facts that any and all things in existence can be made to fit, don't you think?
