Lauterbach Demanded Total Lockdown of 'Unvaxxed', Less Redacted RKI Files Show

Another day, more evidence of the pathological stance of the German Health (sic) Minister during the 'Pandemic'

There’s an old saying about professionalism and personal conduct: ‘when the going gets tough, the tough keep on going’. From what it looks, Karl Lauterbach of the SPD, currently serving as Germany’s Health Minister, is certainly among the tougher politicians.

Sure, legacy media coverage is still (!) quite ‘friendly’—as in seemingly disinterested in discussing, in the broadest possible terms, the many ‘gaffes’ (e.g., Lauterbach riding the train without a N95/FFP2 mask although mandating it for everyone else), tell-tale signs of an impostor (he once quipped that ‘saying the truth typically leads to one’s political death’), and outright lies:

I do admit that I am partially amazed at how this person is able to keep going ‘despite’ these notions, esp. now that the RKI Files show that the federal government knew, early on, that this isn’t true. My tentative conclusion is that Mr. Lauterbach is either a fool or an insane person, and perhaps he’s both at the same time; moreover, I think it is beyond debate whether or not he should not serve in an executive function or handing out ‘life advice’.

Personally, I think he should have resigned a long time ago and put in front of a grand jury for his mismanagement and nefarious deeds, to which we now turn.

Earlier this week, the intrepid physician Christian Haffner, MD, has managed to obtain less redacted RKI Files that Mr. Lauterbach—in yet another instance of his, well, ‘creative’ ways of handling reality—had promised to be released fully un-redacted, still contain ‘some’ redactions.

Part of what has been un-redacted, however, is quite explosive, and it is the issue of another article in the Berliner Zeitung to which we now turn. As always, translation, emphases, and bottom lines mine.

Corona Mandates: Lauterbach Wanted 1G for Catering and Retail

In a letter to Frankfurt doctor Christian Haffner, the German government has released de-redacted important passages from the minutes of the Corona Expert Council, which Haffner has sued for. These files, which are available to the Berliner Zeitung, show, among other things, that Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach proposed to the committee in winter 2021 that unvaccinated people should be completely denied access to restaurants and shops—even if they could prove their officially recognised recovered status. The proposal was ultimately not implemented. It is unclear whether the experts dissuaded Lauterbach from his radical ideas or whether the minister corrected himself [well, the below direct quote from the RKI Files shows it was Lauterbach’s own proposal in the first place…] The minutes of the Expert Council of 28 Dec. 2021 state:

Minister Lauterbach amended his proposal submitted at the last (sic) meeting (1G in catering and retail) to the effect that 2GPlus is also conceivable in the catering sector, whereby boosted persons are exempt from the test requirement. There is generally a higher risk of infection in the catering sector (no masks in the restaurant, older customers).

[my header] On Vaxx Mandates

In a meeting on 9 Feb. 2022, which was also attended by Federal Minister of Justice Marco Buschmann, compulsory vaccination was discussed. Under the heading ‘Communication on compulsory vaccination’ the following is stated:

Based on survey data, the vaccination campaign is stagnating and the proportion of those opposed to vaccination remains constant. Unvaccinated people therefore remain rather sceptical about vaccination. Incentives will not be enough here. Nevertheless, counselling and public relations work are still considered necessary and important. In addition, the group of doctors who refuse vaccination must also be addressed, as doctors’ recommendations generally have a very clear effect.

Finally, the impression is created that a general vaccination obligation is not scientifically justified, but politically desirable. The protocol states:

Compulsory vaccination for older people only is viewed critically, as it could send the wrong signal to all other age groups (sic) (as if they no longer needed vaccination).

Moreover, another de-redacted passage shows that the protection against an Omicron infection through a booster was nowhere near as high as was claimed [I’m shocked, shocked, that lying is going on here] in the various booster campaigns. On 4 Jan. 2022, the RKI protocol notes:

A new household contact study from Denmark shows that the mRNA booster vaccination offers 46% protection against infections with Omicron, but the double vaccination does not.

The Federal Chancellery has brought the redactions to the attention of the Berlin Administrative Court [Verwaltungsgericht], before which the general practitioner Christian Haffner had filed a lawsuit, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. A hearing is scheduled for next Monday [13 May 2024], but the Federal Chancellery no longer considers it necessary. In the written submission to the court submitted to the Berliner Zeitung, the Chancellery writes: ‘We assume that the lawsuit has been completely settled due to the extensive de-redaction of the minutes.’ [let that sink in for a moment: the physician Dr. Haffner had to file numerous FOIA requests for the gov’t to reluctantly release heavily redacted files that taxpayer’s paid for].

Christian Haffner does not see it that way and is not withdrawing his lawsuit despite the surprising step taken by the federal government. He told the Berliner Zeitung:

With such serious restrictions on fundamental rights, it is important to know that the whole thing is in the interests of the population and not in the interests of an industry.

Haffner wants the completely un-redacted files because otherwise important passages of the protocols remain secret. According to the Federal Chancellery, the ‘names of the authors of contributions to meetings’ and guests of the Expert Council should remain blacked out to ‘protect public safety’. [line break added; this should read ‘to protect gov’t stooges in public’, if you’d ask me]

Moreover, to ‘protect fiscal interests’, passages that ‘allow conclusions to be drawn about an assessment of certain pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmaceutical preparations (drugs or vaccines) or sources of supply of drugs’ are to remain under lock and key.

In addition, to ‘protect the bilateral relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the People’s Republic of China…text passages that contain, among other things, judgements on Chinese government action have been redacted’. [lest anyone learns that the German gov’t knew about the Chinese blunders but, since they were doing the same, couldn’t say that out loud?]

Bottom Lines

Mr. Lauterbach and the rest of the federal gov’t lied, people were arbitrarily denied their rights and liberties, many were forced to get unsafe and ineffective injections, and now the same people who did that wish to remain anonymous. What a disgrace.

In this respect, the WHO-declared, so-called ‘Pandemic™’ is nothing extraordinary: the people ostensibly running our governments over-reacted, lost their nerves, and now they wish to continue in their comfortable positions without facing the consequences of their actions. This is the Peter Pan Syndrome writ large.

At some point in the not-too-distant future, I suspect that the Covid politicos will face a situation not unlike the Hobson’s Choice of the current Israeli PM: keep doing what their doing to remain in office for the moment they step down, they’ll all loose the protection from prosecution due to ‘their’ office.

It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. The former Italian Health Minister who mandated these injections, one Mr. Speranza, can hardly show his face in public without getting harassed by Italians:
