Lovely creature.
Octopuses are brilliant creatures and were among Oliver Sacks's favorite beings. I highly recommend this book:
• "Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration into the Wonder of Consciousness" by Sy Montgomery
"Octopuses are seriously smart. They can use tools and solve complex problems"
... that means, we either now start politician-farming, or we'd be horrible hypocrites, killing superior beings...
Excellent trolling.
I'd only call into the question that politicians are 'seriously smart', to say nothing about them being able to use tools (the last one I've seen using a chain-saw was W, although the 'problems' he solved can't be called 'complex').
Also: have you seen this:

Thank you very much!
I'm not saying I like this, but I'm having a hard time seeing how it's any worse than feedlots. And pigs are smarter than octopuses.
I'm not saying you're incorrect about the feedlot comparison: both notions are disgusting.
As far as I'm concerned, I think it's worth a signature to stop industrial 'aquaculture' from expanding.
