This is good news but why do I find it slightly depressing to see that 47.3% of the 66.8% still think that these discriminatory measures are ok. Are they just the kind of person that likes to punish those who won’t comply or do they still genuinely believe that these jabs actually do something - well something good for society, many of us now know that they do something! Anyway I mustn’t be negative and should be grateful for any good news. I just wish other countries like, Belgium, where I live would knock the vaxx passports on the head. Back in March they were ‘put in the bottom drawer’ and I am sure that there are some that would salivate at the thought of their reintroduction.

Indeed, that is depressing. But be aware, that the whole politcs-media-complex of Liechtenstein (yes, it seems the have something like that too) went against the referendum with full force. ThI guess they really tried to set the public opinion in such a way, that voting "no" must be quiet pathologic or something. So from that perspective, the outcome is pretty positive. Cheers.

Oh, that's true--and, if I may add, keep in mind that it tells us something else: a slight majority of voters has become aware of these moronic policies: and that, I'd argue, is a quite wonderful change, eh?

Apologies for the OT tangent but since you often cover Russia-Germany issues, this might be interesting to you:

Breitbart quoting Süddeutsche Zeitung:

[https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2022/09/22/russian-bots-german-authorities-have-been-operating-hundreds-of-fake-far-right-social-media-accounts/]

Breitbart links to original article which is paywalled.

Ha, the Breitbart piece is spot-on--and the issue was almost unreported here. My colleagues over at tkp.at published on it, though, and I shall perhaps translate their piece tomorrow? I do have quite a backlog of interesting stuff, but I'm hesitant to put out more than one piece per day for fear of 'swamping' the readers…

And, yes, why isn't this more 'newsworthy'?

Swedish free media reported it, that's where I came across it:

https://samnytt.se/myndigheter-driver-hundratals-falska-hogerextrema-konton-i-sociala-medier/

Right-of-swedish centre paper, frequently caled "nazi" for not masking the identities of people condemned of crimes.Because not hiding the truth is apparently "nazism"...

Oh well, you're basically a Nazi for doing or saying…quite anything.

Reminds me of that hilarious 'Simpsons' episode where Homer is taking the cigarettes from his sisters-in-law at the DMV (as the labour inspectorate stops by), which saves their jobs--but he ends up getting slapped and called 'worse than Hitler'.

Well, allegedly, Adolf didn't smoke;

But I do believe he did coke;

Guess that makes him woke;

Despite not having a toke.

Funny--I suppose all vegans should be ashamed that Hitler, too, didn't eat meat.

I'll show myself out, no worries.

Off topic:

With words like da/ja, nyet/nein, no wonder the Europeans - pre immigration! - looked and sounded alike! :)

Since they looked and souinded alike, it is odd that they are so feral and fractious.
