Time will come when mandatory blood serum testing of all travellers to points outside the EU /will/ eventually become necessary, and with them we'll get all the rest of the stupid lockdown, social distancing and so on too.
I hear you about the condoms--but the easiest way to do would be to enquire about sexual orientation of travellers around the 'pride' season and hand them a bag of them upon arrival at the airport, eh?

Health screenings before/after travel will become widely diffused before too long (think Covid passports), but I doubt that, once the 'facts' about the 'superspreader events'--'pride' parades--becomes impossible to hide, public support for the event per se and 'free goodies' will evaporate, as will toleration for restrictions w/respect to travel restrictions for everyone but those 'superspreaders'.

Question is--why are they fighting this fight?
Why?
Because they cannot - ever - admit to being wrong or in error in the slightest, since they operate on the belief that doing so erodes public trust.
Since "gay = intrinsically Good", nothing associated with "gay" can be Bad. So much the worse for the facts.
