The swedish nationa anthem has four verses, but singing the last two might get you arrested - most people don't even know about them nowadays. The two verses are highly patriotic and nationalist, can't have that in an anthem, can we?

And our national Socialist Democratic Worker's Party long ago removed some lines of The International, namely the lines about being oppressed by taxes, laws and the state. No guesses as to why.

What I'm saying is, this isn't new - it's just that the masks have been dropped and the beast is out in the open.

The former Australian Prime Minister changed our national anthem in the dead of night on New Year's by Royal Decree with the Governor General. He said saying we are 'young and free' offended Aboriginal people. We had no say in the matter.

This PM has recently resigned as MP and is now working in private industry with CIA's Mike Pompeo. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12995987/Scott-Morrison-reveals-new-job-working-alongside-ex-CIA-director-quitting-MP.html

They hate us so much and they think we cannot see what they are doing.

Former Austrian chancellor Sebastian Kurz is now working with Peter Thiel's 'Palantir', which is to say, I suppose Mr Morrison and Mr. Kurz are kinda even, eh?

Austria's post-WW2 anthem has a line that references the country's 'big sons', which was, predictably, altered to also include the nation's 'big daughters'.

The aspect of the International is--hilarious, no doubt about it.

Of course, the above notion isn't exactly 'news', but it's been quite something to observe this quite so openly.

Everyone around the world remembers this incident in Germany: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kgQF5rvpY0

I remember being totally shocked about how much German people hate themselves and their culture when I was there 10 years ago. I told them to get over it because that attitude will destroy their nation.

And here we are.

I remember, but I'd add--the country is being destroyed by these 'elites', not by the 'ordinary people'.

Expand full comment

It is precisely the 'ordinary people' who are destroying our countries, the majority being those who just comply and virtue signal for social credit.

I am reminded of so many cases of 'refugee welcome' families who take violent refugees in their homes to virtue signal and the refugee will rape and murder the daughter, and the father will say 'I would do it again!'

There is no reaching these people.

I'm in agreement what many 'ordinary people' merrily go along, but they are led in certain directions.

Yes, insouciance and apathy are problems, no doubt about it, but the (evil) intent is elsewhere.

My neighbour told me that I should be liquidated in a camp for being unvaccinated, which was a normalised view here during covid.

Australia reached 8/10 of Stanton's stages of genocide against the unvaccinated, which could not have been possible without the participation of ordinary people.

Never, ever underestimate how evil ordinary people are when they fear for their own lives or believe themselves to hold the dominant virtuous worldview.

I'm not disagreeing with you, all I'm saying is this:

'Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.'

The point is--yes, 'the ordinary people' can be whipped up easily, but who's doing the whipping?

Expand full comment

The ordinary people, because they enjoy the power of whipping others. If people did not want to do it, it would not happen.

It is simply human nature.

Stanford Prison Experiment is a great example of this, but again, I saw it with my own eyes. Ordinary people were *excited* with the power the V-pass gave them over the unvaccinated and were sad when the power was over.

We have got to stop blaming the 'government' for our personal moral failings.
