Spirit Airlines the low cost U.S. carrier to many resort and ski areas just filed for bankruptcy.

This will cut back on travel to many western areas. Stopped even considering travel to Europe or GB or NZ or OZ with tracking and vax passports. Plus there is a risk of pilots dropping dead from having been mandated to take the shots.

- "Anybody know how to fly one of these things?"

Oh, all airlines--esp. the flag carriers--are zombie businesses, isn't it?

I also hear that many are struggling to find crew members…

A century or so ago, you could have traveled by zeppelin instead. Whiten line table-cloths. Chandeliers. Live music. Real food.

Half a century ago, you could have phoned the airport directly and asked which flight was about to leave to your destination, and paid cash over the counter. Smoking section. Byof/byob fully normal.

Now? Flying is a step above inner city public transport in service, quality and customer satisfaction.

As to the last paragraph: I'd go for it's way worse because you can get off a public bus anytime (plus no passport check before boarding).
