Dr. Rendi-Wagner is, of course, one of the worst examples of Zero Covid Hawks, a fanatical pro-vaxx cultist, and deeply embedded in Big Pharma shenanigans
Your post yesterday influenced much conversation around here. Few guessed the second state in the US that had less deaths. Thank you so much for your courageous fight for freedom!
Am currently reading a book published in 1970, discussing the advantages and dangers of biological research and what may be possible in the future (i.e. our present day).
One of the greatest dangers that researchers quoted in the book state is (drumroll) virus either purposefully modified or accidentally so escaping from labs and infecting people.
The two proposed solutions, again, by prominent scientists of that day (including Nobel laureats) are these:
1) An international monitoring agency with executive control over research, from topics to methods and goals, with the authority to dictate, direct and outright ban areas of research and its implementation as it sees fit, beyond the control of politicians or corporations since only the scientists properly understand the issues.
2) Genetic manipulation select human specimens to engineer heightened intelligence so that this caste of super-intelligent humans can properly guide the rest.
Then there's a third thing the scientists and researchers quoted all seem to agree upon (all of them biologists in some capacity):
The necessity to determine the correct number of humans living on Earth, and that it falls to "science" to determine this and see it is achieved.
Or in other words, the ideas that's taken the stage during Covid and the Climate Crisis aren't new and were rather anchored in the scientific community long before any postmodern or marxist ideas crept in.
And now, I find myself thinking of the ending of Kubrick's "Dr Strangelove". The old nazi scientist exploiting a man-made crisis and a disaster caused by the vicvtors of the war, to see the old nazu eugenic ideas become reality.
And sit here wondering if Kubrick was trying to tell us something else, than the risk of human error and nuclear weapons.

Thank you for reading, and I'm doubly-glad my efforts are having an impact, as little as it may be.
Thank you. Keep speaking truth
I shall; life's too short not to do so.
Both abortion and vaxx reduce population. Not so contradictory. ;-)
Sure, but perhaps I should have written: it’s contradictory from Rendi-Wagner’s ‘feminist’ perspective.
Of course.
