Corona Alarm in Holiday Destinations

As in recent years, the coronavirus figures are now rising in holiday destinations.

In Spain, for example, the incidence rose by around 27% in just one week, quadrupling compared to the beginning of May [since we don’t know either baseline, this is essentially meaningless]. In Italy, too, there were almost 4,000 new positive cases in just one week up to 3 July—three times as many as the week before [same here; we don’t even know how many such ‘tests’ were performed or under what conditions: it’s equally meaningless]. Masks are already being recommended in public transport here [why, no-one knows]. In Greece, the number of coronavirus patients in hospitals has quadrupled, doctors report on TV [and a third time no baselines, i.e., fearmongering galore]…

Expert Recommends Booster Jab Now

Molecular biologist Ulrich Elling recommends not waiting until winter to carry out booster vaccinations in view of the significant increase in CoV wastewater [sic] levels in recent weeks . This is because this increase has occurred one to two months earlier than in summer 2023, he said in an APA interview. This means that the expected sharp increase in cases—which occurred in late autumn and especially in November/December last year—could occur earlier [we’re all going to die, so, what’s the rush?].

In 2023, an initially slow increase in wastewater data at a comparatively low level was only recorded from around August. This year, after the many cases of infection in winter and a very quiet spring, the wastewater values [which ones? Well, I guess it doesn’t matter, eh?] already rose significantly in June and July.

In addition, the number of cases is currently already at a significantly higher level than in August of the previous year, as the geneticist, who most recently worked at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, recalled [that’s somehow good enough? No more data or studies? I’m disappointed].

Little hope in politics

‘If you can already see that there is such a potential (for new infections, editor’s note), you have to assume that the wave will come earlier than last year.’ That’s why we need to start vaccinating early: ‘As the vaccination takes a few weeks to take effect, I don’t think it makes sense to vaccinate at the same time as the flu’, said Elling, pointing out that the flu season starts much later.

He also pointed out that Austria had a very poor vaccination rate last year [sic]. Unfortunately, Elling sees no signs that politicians are endeavouring to counteract this. In view of the national elections in the autumn, it can also be assumed that hardly anyone will take the issue of vaccination into their own hands, according to Elling’s fears.

New Covid Vaccine Available—And Who Should Get It

A huge wave of colds has rolled over Austria in recent months, in many cases actually caused by the coronavirus [strange that kinda no-one noticed]. Due to previous illnesses and the high vaccination rates, cases have been milder [remember: of colds].

However, a viral disease always harbours a high risk for older people, and younger people can also suffer long-lasting after-effects, i.e., Long Covid. For this autumn, the German government has therefore again provided plenty of vaccine against the current JN.1 variant.

‘Vaccination Protects’

‘The COVID-19 vaccination remains part of the Austrian vaccination plan and is still free of charge for everyone in Austria’ [beware of the gov’t bringing gifts] says Health Minister Johannes Rauch:

Vaccination is safe, protects against a severe course of the disease, and long-lasting consequences such as Long COVID. That’s why my appeal this year is: get vaccinated in good time.

92,160 doses of the adapted coronavirus vaccine have now arrived in Austria and can be vaccinated from next week. As in the previous year, the Ministry of Health recommends the annual booster vaccination especially for people at risk and people aged 60 and older. Previously unvaccinated people are also considered to be adequately protected with a vaccination using an adapted variant vaccine [why?].

This information is based on the recommendation of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which officially authorised the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine at the beginning of July [which means that the EMA should, similarly officially, be ignored].

Recommended for Everyone Aged 12 and Older

The National Immunisation Consortium even recommends immunisation for everyone aged 12 and over for the best possible protection against severe courses of the disease [remember, we’re talking about colds]. Immunisation is particularly recommended for people aged 60 and over who are at increased risk of severe disease progression, as well as for healthcare professionals. On personal request, vaccination is also possible for infants and children from the age of 6 months [who would be responsible for, e.g., adverse events? Why do we do these child sacrifices?].

A total of 1.2m doses were ordered for the 2024/25 vaccination season. These were called up from existing contracts. The vaccinations are available from numerous doctors in private practice, and in some cases also from public vaccination centres in cities and municipalities.

Bottom Lines

So, nothing new under the summer sun. For those who are going to the Mediterranean this summer, please chose if you’re going to die from heat (sic) or Covid. Whatever your choice, be advised that the world’s going to end before too long either way.

The ‘experts™’ are still at it, and they won’t stop.

Yes, there’s pertinent language in the criminal code that punishes quackery (Kurpfuscherei), and while neither Ulrich Elling—a molecular biologist and not an MD—nor Health Minister Johannes Rauch are physicians, they are getting away with quackery once more.

As regards the freak show masquerading as ‘experts™’ and ‘politicians™’, as well as ‘journalists™’, well, what can we say? We’ll let Ulrich Elling have the last word here (via Oe24.at, 21 July 2024; source):

Elling believes [no more ‘studies™’ or ‘data™’ or whatever] that the reasons for the early increase in the number of Covid cases are that the population’s immunity has waned—partly due to the low vaccination rate, but also due to the fact that the peak of the last wave (Dec. 2023) was more than six months ago. In 2023, on the other hand, there was also a spring wave and the population’s immunity waned accordingly later [ah, ‘hybrid immunity’, I’ve missed you; remember, that only works if you’ve been infected before getting the jabs]. According to Elling, a lot of ‘fuel’ has already accumulated, in the sense that immunity has been reduced. A ‘high infection potential’ seems [note the vague wording] to have accumulated, he said [we should probably put ‘experts™’ like the biologist Elling in charge of forest wildfire management…].

However, the expert also referred to the new variants, which have a growth advantage over the XBB and JN.1 variants that predominate in winter. After the so-called ‘FLiRT’ variants (KP.1.1, KP.2), the JN.1 subsidiary variant KP.3 (and its subsidiary variants) (so-called ‘FLuQE’ [lol, who picks these names?] variants, which have a further growth advantage over ‘FLiRT’) is currently gaining ground internationally and also in Austria. According to Elling, a high plateau of infections could possibly occur as early as late summer, meaning that the winter wave will not peak as high as last December—but this is highly speculative and uncertain.

Adapted Vaccine

For the time being, the vaccine ordered by the Ministry of Health is exclusively that of the manufacturer Biontech-Pfizer (Comirnaty Omicron JN.1), which is adapted to the JN.1 variant. The ministry explained in its new vaccination recommendation: ‘Variant vaccines against JN.1 will be available from summer 2024. The new KP.2 variant currently circulating is very similar to the JN.1 variant from an immunological point of view and it can therefore be assumed [aren’t you convinced yet?] that the adapted vaccine will elicit a protective response for both variants.’…

The FDA has now advised manufacturers to adapt the vaccines to the KP.2 virus strain if possible. Whether such an adapted vaccine will be available in Europe or Austria cannot be estimated at present [my 2 cents are: when the KP.2 variant no longer exists]. In addition to the mRNA vaccine from Biontech, no other vaccine has been ordered by Austria to date. It is also unclear whether a vaccine from the protein-based vaccine manufacturer Novavax will be available in Austria. In response to an APA enquiry, the Ministry of Health pointed out that these questions also depend on vaccine approval by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The EMA only stated on Friday [19 July 2024] that it was sticking to its recommendation from April to focus the vaccines on the JN.1 variant (see: https://go.apa.at/VRUAuDer).

In the end, if you’ve made it this far without acceding to public health officialdom’s ‘generous offers’ of repeat injection with untested, unsafe, and ineffective gene therapy products, don’t start now.
