We are all about to find out what could go wrong from these various dictates from on high, and we won't like it. And if one doesn't get fighting mad that person is not normal.

The real deadly virus are doctors - you almost got that far this post.

Might I recommend not participating in the medical charade, stop financing the fancy living of the pharma-freak show by eating a half can of cod liver every cloudy day, and a few sea berries everyday - a S Korea showed these kill Cviruses on contact.

I think they meant "FLORIDA".

"but the risk of infection could be significantly reduced by vaccinations and hygiene measures, such as wearing FFP2 masks"

I wonder how, since neither the flu vaccine nor the covid vaccines prevent infection or transmission, and FFP2 masks can actually enhance the infection. This is just wishful thinking (at best).

Well, neither is really 'effective' in the sense of the term; the problem is, for Big Pharma 'effective' means something else, e.g., triggering an immune response, which may or may not be helpful or even healthy.

I think the one thing any individual can do is--stay calm and carry on, there's not much else to do.

I lost my calm 2.5 years ago, I'm afraid... (I'm in Vienna)

My condolences. I've only been to/near Vienna (the city I was born) two times since 'Covid' began, once in early June 2020 and once again in summer of 2021. I'm unsure if I want to return before too lond…

I'm with you--and with many others who feel the same.

Perhaps you'd like to check out my comment on tomorrow's 'national holiday':

Stay strong!

Great comment. I read TKP regularly. I am very worried about our neutrality.

You are way too kind, I'm very greatful for your time.

And, please, if I may, keep worrying about it. I do that, too.

i haven't seen any evidence that it is even possible to be infected with sarscov2 and influenza at the same time.

my guess is that such a combination is highly unlikely.

like the human rhinovirus and influenza combination and the human rhinovirus and sarscov2 combination are.

in vitro the human rhinovirus sarscov2 combination has been proved to not be viable as the presence of the rhinovirus seems to keep the sarscov2 from replicating due to the rhinovirus possibly eliciting an interferon reaction.

the study was published in march 2021 at the time where it was advised to keep the children, especially those snotty nosed ones, away from the grandparents.....

https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/224/1/31/6179975?login=false

there is a host of studies from later on that do confirm the effect of interferon on sarscov2.

and that was the end of that road..

apparently there was far more money to be made by peddling a "vaccine" than by researching a cure...

facts no longer seem to be of interest to the "experts" .

I'm a bit unsure about the evidence, but then again, there's also cross-immunity.

Facts and experts don't mix, for sure. It used to be preachers, but now--the white lab coat appears to have substituted for the priest's frock of yesteryear.
