Provided they don't coerce faccination, hopefully people can tough it out. Especially now that they have had over 2.5 years of experience to utilise.

und beim Anschluss haben viele Österreicher applaudiert.

der Faschismus ist nie richtig verschwunden, er hat sich nur zeitweilig ruhig verhalten.

und jetzt ist er wieder voll da, zwar ohne Hitlergruß aber genau so perfide...

Oh well, if you write, 'fasciem…is back, albeit without the Nazi salute (but as perfiduous as ever)', that's quite an apt description.

The main problem, though, is that about 1/3 of the population appears to be fine with it (even though they probably won't notice what they are agreeing with).

In general, any data or datum collected anywhere, is always recorded and the record kept. The rest is just a question of laws and regulationss and how to navigate them. It is more or less an obsessive-compulsive personality trait in the people making up large institutions to collect data.

After all, collecting and collating data is often the easiest and safest way to show that you actually do any work.
