So not only did corona hit vaccinated and boosted tourists, but it hit them after their stop in the very highly vaccinated (but not doing so very well corona-wise) Portugal.

Just add some background music and an soothing marketing voice, and you have a wonderful commercial for the vaccines.

Harr, excellent trolling.

The worst thing about this is--across the board, incidences for South Africa are so low compared to highly-vaxxed'n'boosted countries, such as Portugal, that it boggles the mind no-one in legacy media wants to mention this little, if quite relevant, I'd argue, factoid.

Yes, it's sickening how WEF'ers and such like to twist the information about Africa in general: The continent isn't having trouble with corona now, but they are in desperate need of vaccination anyway. I hear that, and I think, "Keep your filthy hands off of Africa." I was glad to see that 47 countries in Africa went against the WHO plans for "world domination." It gives me a glimmer of hope.

This is interesting from a different angle: according to swedish state media and regime loyal media (we have virtually two owners besides teensy-tiny alternative media/samizat), it is impossible to stop a ship from apporaching the shore or a harbour in Europe.

Impossible as in againts all natural law.

Yet such a huge ship can apparently be stopped with a radio transmission. Then, why can't dinghys and barges and rubber boats be stopped outside Tunisia? Are africans and arabs in small vessels automatically Covid-free and a better class of human than paying customers on a cruise ship?

That kind of queston, if asked openly on the record, is equal to quitting your job and blacklisting yourself.

Well, surely, Tangier isn't in Europe, hence Morocco may not be counted among the (self-identifying) 'civilised' West, eh?

Sarcastic overtones aside, the question of illegal immigration, facilitated by the powers-that-be, is certainly a valid one, which is to say--it will not be asked, for the simple reason that it renders a lot of people very, very 'unhappy'.

You say unhappy, I say "looks like they have infection of the urethra and need to take a leak".

It is a look I know well. I saw the same look on swedish communists, anarchists, christian conservatives and liberatarians when I still bothered to try to debate and educate and learn myself. Any and all facts counter to dogma brought forth that look.

Curiously, it seems to be isolated to europeans and Europe-descend nations (such as the US), because I have never encountered that reaction from israeli jews, arabs of any origin or turks or transoxanians/asians.

As of right now, neither Covid nor Ukraine is front-page news. It's all summer weather, NATO, and crime. And that the basic infrastructure (water, sewers, roads, tele-systems, et c) the basis of which was built in the fifties is breaking down due to 20+ years of no maintenance, only repairs as and when. The original system was designed using demographic projections stretching to 2050, when we were expected to pass the 10 000 000 mark. Which we did ten yars ago or so. Also, it was designed to be easy to add-on as cities grew, and was supposed to be serviced continually, replacing pats and such before any breakdowns and with 100% redundancy built in in case of war.

The neo-liberal politics from 1990 onwards killed that. So now, the cost for repairs and maintenance are irrelevant as the system needs replacing. To the tune of 46 000 000 000 Euros or more.

Money which simply does not exist, and as we are well past the breaking-point on the laffer curve... It is no wonder the danes and norwegians and finns are ready to close their borders to Sweden.

How would I know?

It's only 'fair', or perhaps 'righteous retribution' that this happened: if one continues to insist on these mandates and measures, why not be happy to enforce them?

I suppose there's a kind of tit-for-tat involved, don't you think? (As in: the Moroccans 'returning' the favour now…)
