Vaxx Injuries in Norway: A Shift in Media Coverage? State Broadcaster NRK Shines a Light on AE
Now let's see if this stirs up enough outrage for 'the system' to finally jump-start into action, or the courts to function as they should; if they won't, not many options remain
Yesterday, I brought you up to speed on the dire straits many a Norwegian hospital finds itself in nowadays: a quite unexpected, and unexplained, doubling of ER visits that emerged over the course of spring.
Of course, none of this is unforeseen, due to the nature of causal interplay with effects, but since The Science™ rules supreme, we must not talk about logic either…
…and thus, we get to these heart-wrenching two episodes that appeared in recent days in Norwegian state media (NRK). This is a very troubling posting, I think, for NRK’s two pieces give names, personal details, and the like of two high-profile vaccine injury cases, involving what Big Pharma and the ‘regulatory’ agencies admit to (myocarditis among esp. young men) and what is disturbingly labelled SADS (sudden adult death syndrome).
This is a very sad posting, in particular as I just received word that a friend’s ‘surprisingly healthy 92-year-old’ mother also passed away ‘due to a stroke’ and ‘completely unexpectedly’.
If you haven’t seen it, do check out Mark Crispin Miller’s attempt to keeping track of this wave of ‘sudden deaths’:
Without much further ado, here goes (as always, translation and emphases are mine).
Theodor (20) Thought He Was Going to Die of the Covid Vaccine—And Got 2,000 Crowns in Compensation
Here’s the link to the original source over at NRK.
Caption: ‘Of course, I am disappointed’, says Theodor Huseby Grøtterød (20). He is one of 56 who have received compensation after receiving the Covid vaccine in Norway.
On Friday, 3 September last year, Theodor was on leave from his basic training in the Armed Forces and was at home in Halden to receive his second shot of the Covid vaccine.
At the vaccine center, he was offered the Moderna vaccine, which he accepted, even though he had wanted the Pfizer vaccine.
At first, he felt normal side effects, such as flu symptoms. But on Sunday [5 Sept.], he felt that something was really wrong, and on Monday evening [6 Sept.], he had to be taken to the ER. There he vomited and screamed in pain.
‘It felt like someone stabbed me in the heart, and there and then I thought I was going to die’, says Theodor.
The 20-year-old was admitted to Østfold Hospital Kalnes where he was diagnosed with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle). At the hospital, he was treated with painkillers and kept under supervision. Fortunately, he recovered quickly, and after a few days he was discharged. Still, the doctors told him to take it easy and not strain his heart too hard.
Although myocarditis is a very rare side effect, the doctors realised quite early on that the condition could be linked to the vaccine, and they encouraged Theodor to apply for compensation from the Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation Scheme (Norsk pasientskadeerstatning, or NPE). ‘I did not even know that [doing so] was a possibility’, says Theodor.
In the weeks and months after his hospital stay, Theodor gradually lost the fitness he spent years acquiring before joining the Armed Forces. There were many trips to the doctor, and gradually it dawned on him that his dream of admission to the War College would not be realised this year…therefore, he hoped that compensation from the Patient Injury Compensation Scheme NPE would cover some of the strain and lost opportunities, as well as expenses in connection with treatment and medication.
But when the decision came, he was very disappointed. He was offered 2,000 Norwegian Crowns [about US$, or €, 200] in compensation, which ‘is a ridiculously low sum that barely covers anything’, says Theodor.
So, a young man’s dreams of joining the army are thwarted by an injection—now it’s proven, I daresay—that caused myocarditis. Three days after his second shot with Moderna, Theodor has to be transported to the ER, becomes hospitalised, and is treated [sic] ‘with painkillers’ and kept ‘under supervision’. Western allopathic medicine at its finest, eh?
It gets worse, though, as Theodor ‘has released NPE from confidentiality so that director Rolf Gunnar Jørstad can comment on the case’. Here’s what Rolf Gunnar had to say:
‘Compensation is a discretionary amount for expenses that we have assumed that he may have had as a result of the damage’, Jørstad says.
2,000 Crowns does not cover much, why so little? [NRK asks JÅ“rstad]
‘It is connected with what is put on the table of information and documentation for expenses. In this case, we have determined that 2,000 Crowns is a sum that will cover the expenses he may have incurred during that period’, says the director. He further says that there is a lack of documentation that makes the plans for a career in the Armed Forces probable.
[Jørstad:] ‘This is a temporary condition, and if you are to have compensation for a planned career that did not develop as you had hoped, it is important that you can substantiate those plans to be able to arrive with a claim for compensation’, says Jørstad.
Nevertheless, the director understands that it may seem like a small sum based on the situation Theodor ended up in. ‘But—we consider what kind of financial loss has actually been incurred. We have no possibilities to extend compensation to also cover tort and other liabilities [or damages]’, explains Jørstad.
Over 600 Claims Were Filed (So Far)
That NRK piece then moves on to provide a very accurate and comparatively detailed overview of all the 638 claims filed so far. With 413 cases adjudicated, the system appears to be working quite efficiently.
About damn time, I’d say, in addition to j’accuse, for the below information has been piling up since literally the first 1-2 weeks of the mass injection campaign, i.e., since mid-January 2021:
For those who wish to open this particular can of worms, you’re equally welcome to read up on my three-part vaccine injury series, published in February 2022 (all three parts are linked in the below piece):
Let’s return to the NRK piece cited above. The current ‘body count’ with respect to confirmed and acknowledged instances of myocarditis after injection with either the BioNTech/Pfizer or the Moderna products are 4 and 9 cases, respectively. All victims are between 20-62 years, and there were 10 men and 3 women who filed claims that were deemed credible by the authorities. These thirteen people received an average of 5,523 Crowns (or some US$, or €, 500), as the NRK piece also details the ‘total compensation paid’ to be 71,800 Crowns, with the smallest amount being 1,000 Crowns, and the largest compensation was 28,000 Crowns.
So, get myocarditis and get a couple of bucks while being saddled with a very serious medical condition for life. And all you get is about as much in compensation as if your baggage went missing on, say, a JetBlue flight (true story, happened to me: they managed to somehow lose my gate-dropped bag on a direct flight from LaGuardia to Ontario, CA—it arrived three days later as I flew back, and weeks later, I received US$ 100 ‘for my inconveniences’).
Also, keep in mind that myocarditis, according to the trade publication of the German Medical Association (Deutsches Ärzteblatt), has ‘a high case fatality, in spite of treatment’. The death rate of patients diagnosed with acute lymphocytic myocarditis may be higher than 40% in the first four weeks, while eosinophile myocarditis comes with a death rate in excess of 20% in the four years past diagnosis, and necrotising eosinophilic myocarditis has a case fatality rate of 25-56% within 3-10 years. In other words, with Theodor being barely 20 years old, there’s a significantly elevated risk he won’t live to see his 30th birthday.
Back to the NRK piece, which also contains the following statements by Henrik Schirmer, professor of cardiology at Akershus University Hospital in Oslo, Norway:
‘Inflammation of the heart can also occur after infection with Sars-Cov-2’, says Henrik Schirmer…who has experience with both patients who have had heart inflammation after contraction of Covid and vaccination against it. ‘Inflammation of the heart after Covid disease mainly affects the elderly, while myocarditis in mainly young men typically occurs after vaccination’, he says.
How are those who suffer from inflammation of the heart doing? [NRK asks] ‘Fortunately, the vast majority get rid of the ailments without getting permanent injuries, but with virus-triggered heart inflammation, we have had a few who have had relapses’, says the professor.
The last words in this case belong to Theodor, as quoted by NRK:
So far, there is no indication that Theodor has sustained permanent injuries after his bout of myocarditis, but he still feels that it stings a little in the chest from time to time.
‘The health scare has given me a shock, especially mentally. I often think about it when I go to bed. Now I am waiting for an MRI examination to see if everything is fine, but fortunately an ultrasound did not show defects in the heart.’
Has what happened changed your view of the vaccine?, NRK asks?
‘I still see the vaccine as very important. There are very few who have had this side effect here, so I have had a lot of bad luck’, says Theodor.
As if this episode wasn’t bad enough, here’s more on the AEs, published half a year ago:
Father of Three Sues for Compensation after Vaccine-Associated Death
Here’s the link to the original source over at NRK.
Caption: ‘Now I have to sell property to pay the bills’, says father-of-three Trond Engen (51) who lost his wife to the AstraZeneca vaccination.
It has not yet been a year since Gunhild (42) died due to the very rare side effects that occurred after she was vaccinated against Sars-Cov-2.
‘It has been tough, says Trond, who is now a single father of three teenagers. He has now been awarded about 1m Crowns [approx. US$ 100,000] in compensation from the Norwegian Patient Injury Compensation Scheme (NPE), but that is far from what he expected.
Gunhild worked as a health worker and was among the first to be vaccinated in Norway. Yet, shortly after vaccination, she was admitted to the hospital with a combination of blood clots, low platelets, and bleeding. A life-threatening and very unusual course of the disease, also known as VITT (vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia).
This one, as hard it is to read, though, is a bit different: Gunhild died after receiving the AstraZeneca injection, which was discontinued by Norwegian authorities soon thereafter in March 2021.
‘We submitted a claim for a so-called sustenance loss compensation of 5.2m Crowns to cover the loss of the wife’s financial contribution to the household, says lawyer Therese Lohne Boehlke from the law firm Ness Lundin. She represents both Trond and several other clients, who have filed claims for compensation against NPE after coronary vaccination. But the compensation Trond and the family received fell far short…
The compensation partly covers funeral costs and what NPE believes the wife would have been responsible for from household income. But the calculations for what the wife would have contributed stop when the youngest child turns 19.
‘I believe that NPE is wrong in this case because they have not made a concrete assessment of the injured party. They have only related to how long the children stay at home’, says Boehlke.
She believes that NPE must take into account that Trond will be able to continue living in his apartment, even when the kids will have moved out. Therefore, the lawyer has appealed the decision on behalf of Trond, and it is now being processed by the Patient Injury Committee.
The father, Trond Engen, has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a neurological disease that renders him disabled. The loss of his wife’s income makes the situation demanding.
‘The payment I have received is not enough to maintain the standard of living at all. Come summer [2022], I have to start selling property off to pay off debt. We are considering selling a small cottage [hytte] without electricity and water. Not a luxury in other words, and maybe not enough to cover the expenses, but absolutely necessary.’
Of course, Mr. Jørstad of the NPE was also commenting on this issue:
We have taken recourse to what is common practice in cases with lost income’, says Jørstad…‘we have made a concrete and individual assessment in this case, but it is true that there is a disagreement between the plaintiff and us regarding some of the assumptions that are included in the lost maintenance calculation.’
Jørstad maintains that NPE strives to award the right compensation: ‘This means that we have followed legislation and the practices that exists in that area. Beyond that, it is difficult to comment on the case’, says Jørstad, and reminds that the case has been appealed and is currently discussed by the Patient Injury Committee…
He also said that a lot is happening when it comes to research into the causal relationship between the Covid vaccines and reported adverse effects.
‘This is something NPE monitors, and therefore in some cases it will take time before it can be determined whether the ailments can be due to the vaccine, or whether they are due to other conditions. In these cases, the law is clear. The biggest challenge is that there is currently not enough medical knowledge about all the side effects that can be caused by the vaccine. This means that we must expect to spend some time getting answers in all cases. In some cases, we may have to look at the cases again, when we get new medical knowledge’, says Jørstad.
Still, it ‘may take years’ for all claims to be vetted, the NRK piece maintains.
The processing time at the Patient Injury Board can be long. According to lawyer Boehlke, a 20-month case processing time has been announced.
‘Judging from experience, it can take longer than that. If Trond does not obtain higher compensation there, we must consider whether he should take the case to court’, she says.
No matter how it goes, life is turned upside down for Trond. In spring he would have been married to Gunhild for 20 years.
Bottom Lines
Spend a moment for those who died, another one for those who are left behind, and yet another one for those who suffer from these injuries, such as Theodor.
What I found most striking is that Theodor apparently didn’t know, or care, enough about the injectable product he was receiving, as well as about his avenues of action.
As regards Gunhild, her case is an absolute tragedy for her husband and their three children. It’s also a stark reminder of the ‘prioritised’ injection recipients.
I recall (but cannot find a link right now) that there were two nurses in Austria who suffered a similar fate virtually right after receiving the AstraZeneca product. They are the only two individuals in whose cases authorities in Covidistan admit a possible connection to the injections. It’s heart-wrenching—and renders me incredibly angry at the same time—that politicians and medical experts are so dishonest, in particular because Scandinavian countries discontinued the AstraZeneca injections in spring 2021 *for precisely these reasons*.
Still, I also recall an acquaintance (prof. in clinical psychiatry) who, in her late 30s, also received the AstraZeneca product in spring 2021. She’s been taken out for more than a week after the second shot, but compared to Gunhild, she should probably count herself lucky.
Finally, I’d like to remind you of a piece I wrote back in mid-March 2022 that explored, in considerable detail, the ‘usual’ approach to AE and injection injuries: back in 2009, during the Swineflu Scare, 15 cases of suspected narcolepsy—and no deaths—caused an emergency halt to the mass vaccination campaign.
Back then, though, ‘the system’ worked—yet, in January 2021, with 14 injection-associated deaths, the Covid ‘vaccines’ weren’t pulled off the market. Yes, we must account for the substantially different number of doses administered, but once we do, we get te following results:
Compared with [Swine Flu vaccine] Pandemrix—which was ‘a catastrophe’ according to Mr. Aavitsland—roughly the same amount of injections with the Covid-19 products caused…
9,175 AE reports, or 633% of the 1,449 AEs associated with Pandemrix
8,060 light AE reports, or almost a magnitude more (932%) than the 865 light AEs associated with Pandemrix
950 severe AEs (excl. deaths), or 63% more than the number of AEs associated with Pandemrix
165 deaths (none that I learned about with Pandemrix), of which almost all were due to the BioNTech/Pfizer product that is ‘offered’ to children over 5 years and pregnant women
Please see the below-linked piece for references:
By now, there are almost ten times the adverse effects compared to 2009, yet ‘the system’ barely moves. I do hope that someone of these vaccine-injured parties is taking the government to court before too long. And if the courts won’t rule on these issues, I guess lampposts will have to do.
Unlike hand sanitizer, sunlight is the best disinfectant.
I found the wording of the caption on Theodor's picture interesting: 'The inflammation of the heart was caused by a strong immune response to the second dose of the vaccine against the coronavirus.’ I'm not a doctor, and so maybe my reaction is silly, but it sounds to me like the writer is trying to create the subtext that the problem is related to the fact that the injection is "working." Or perhaps these two + years have made me terribly cynical. I don't know.
Whatever happened to Norway's tradition of weregild?
