What is that quote about the inmates running the asylum? And now the moronic.

So... Norwegians will instead invest and build in Sweden and Denmark rather than Oslo? Fine by me I guess.

Electrified buildings sites - they already are, unless it's the heavy machinery we're talking about! But the XX-chromosomes driving this issue don't realise that electrical power comes from hydro-electric dams built using millions of tons of concrete, the production of which is very CO2-intensive, or windmills and we know well the very negative envronmental impact of those, or oil/coal-powered plants, or nuclear reactors in Sweden and Finland.

But she looks like the kind of woman who answers "From the wall-socket" when asked where electiricty comes from.

It's really hard not to start arguing for a new eugenics programme and revoking universal franchise these days.

I dunno about MS. Vea, but I understand that it's one thing to wish for the moon (EVs) while it's a different thing to mandate EV machinery (which increases up-front prices massively) and, once these machines are here, to later claim 'see, prices a coming down'. And then there's the shady accounting of these 'emissions' to boot--it's all a charade, which is used to confer legitimacy.

The accounting gimmick with 'we'll just exclude what's happening beyond city limits' is amazing (and a totally open sleight of hand), to say nothing about the construction materials from abroad.

As to the last sentence, well, I refer you to the rule of holes: too few children equals no future, and we've already looked at demographers saying the quiet part out loud: 'even' mass immigration' won't make fertility rates inch over replacement levels (2.11 children/woman). Hence, shall we play a stupid game of enquiring when Mr Market will stop buying gov't debt that can and will never be repaid due to not nearly enough future taxpayers?

I've said it before, I propose to modify voting rights as follows: keep active voting rights in place but make passive voting rights (the right to stand) dependent on military service for men and motherhood for women, with the clear indication that both sexes who wish to, at some point in the future, stand for election, must contribute to the safety and future of the country.

Ain't a silver bullet, but it would do away with many, if not most, career politicos™.

Oh, and let's get rid of parties, too.

Oh Lordy I have nothing clever to add so I’ll just agree a most strange new world indeed.

I can’t decide if they are so far up their own a*ses they genuinely believe they are doing good or have some sadomasochistic agenda and self destruct wish …or do they simply think they are above their own consequences…

I think on these local and even on the national levels, there's not much going on in terms of blackmail or the like; yes, these people may be stupid, some are clearly disingenuous bordering on the insane, and some are evil; all are corrupt, but I submit that it's a combination of merely watching MSM, virtue-signalling, and thinking they're beyond reproach.

Once you go up the presumed 'chain-of-command', this changes: there's no way that, say, Von der Leyen isn't a demon-possessed moron hell-bent on destruction.

Broad brush moves are designed to destroy us. Then chosen leaders do the rest.

The main point is that if weakening European countries, peoples and cultures were seen as a threat to the tip of the power pyramid, these things would not be happening. Therefore, the only conclusion we are left with is that these are desired aims. In order to have a chance, we must open our eyes and begin to think with our own thinking faculties. All there is to be known is hidden in plain sight. Unfortunately, all this remains invisible to people who have enabled their own brainwashing. People who desire our destruction pose an existential threat to all of us. How come we don’t treat them and their servants as our deadly enemies?
