Norwegian Tautologies, or: Preben Aavitsland Wrote Me About the Covid 'Vaxx'

Highlights incl. 'mRNA in the vaccines disappears quickly' and the 'vaccines contributes to limiting transmission…protecting the vaccinees against infection, albeit for a limited time'

We have apparently reached the moment in the WHO-declared, so-called ‘Corona Pandemic™’ in which public health officialdom no longer knows what to do due to the many narratological changes. Norwegian legacy media and Dr. Preben Aavitsland, chief epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health, offer a wonderfully kafkaesque set of examples.

Since then, legacy media madness has ramped up in a similar way as in Austria or Germany: here, for example, ist state broadcaster NRK on 30 Nov. 2023, which speaks of ‘multiple waves this winter’ (Covid, flu , RSV ). The ‘remainder’ of legacy media, most of which is owned by The Schibsted Group, parrots comparable lines, hence we’ll be able to skip it.

In itself, one could consider this to be an abstruse delusion of ‘experts™’ who are no longer as important as a few years ago (which, in my opinion, is a large factor in this moronic drama; see, e.g., here and here), but now I am laughing at my recent exchange with the IPH.

Preben Aavitsland Writes me Again

Re Aavitsland’s first statement:

He may be correct in the literal sense, provided blinders are worn all the time. In my opinion, there is but one essential question here: what about natural immunity and the possibility of a contraindication? This issue, though, is a non-starter for the IPH.

Re Aavitsland’s second statement:

I note, for the record, that the cited study has a sample size of 10 (in words: ‘ten’) chronically ill hepatitis C patients—and is only one of more than 1,100 similar studies compiled in the ‘PubMed’ database (with the search terms ‘sars-cov-2 spike protein production’), to say nothing about the fact that ‘even’ the CDC stopped saying so a while ago (in summer 2021, to be precise).

As a professor—Preben Aavitsland is one of my ‘colleagues’ here in Bergen, by the way—I take the liberty of mockingly pointing out that it is technically impossible to speak of a ‘selective reception’ of the relevant research literature here.

Moving on to Aavitsland’s third statement:

The title of today’s posting should now be clear to you: Covid ‘vaccinations’ have ‘not been authorised for preventing transmission from one person to another’, sayeth EMA Head Emer Cooke, but, according to the IPH’s Chief Epidemiologist Preben Aavitsland, they ‘contributes [sic] to limiting transmission in society by protecting the vaccinees against infection, albeit for a limited time’.

Please don’t ask me how this tautology works in epidemiological practice, I have some—admittedly abstruse—thoughts, but I'm not sure my cognitive capacities are sufficient to put them into words.

Epilogue: About the Stuff You Say…

Given the occasion, I sent the above email not only to the IPH’s press office but also to the email address for ‘general enquiries’.

You can hardly imagine my surprise when, two days ago, I also received a reply from them: ‘I will forward your message to the online editors if there is anything that should be corrected.’

For the record, the two homepage entries in question are still online unchanged in both language versions (Norwegian, last update: October 24, 2023 and English, last update: September 18, 2023) as of 6 Dec. 2023 around 8:00 a.m. Europan time.

By the way, I also wrote another message (love letter) to Dr. Aavitsland to please, please, please explain his tautological advice, which I don’t want to withhold from you:

If, contrary to expectations, my request is blessed with an official response from the IPH’s Chief Epidemiologist, I will, of course, share his insights with you.

Until then, however, please allow me once more to summarise the IPH’s wondrous commentary on the Covid ‘vaccines’ as of 4 Dec. 2023, courtesy of Preben Aavitsland: Codiv ‘vaccination’, which does not protect against transmission, according to the official statement by Dr. Preben Aavitsland still ‘contributes to limiting transmission in society’. Just don’t ask him or anyone ‘how’…
