'Long Covid' Killed Swiss Journalist Daniela Cavaglia, According to Legacy Media--While Cavaglia Herself Blamed the Jab

Today’s posting is both sad and disgusting, as well as a cautionary tale with respect to media literacy, integrity in journalism, and a very telling sign of our time.

This particular story revolves around the Covid hysteria, in particular the injection mandates, and its drastic consequences, as exemplified by one woman, Daniela Cavaglia who committed suicide at the age of 56.

Ms. Cavaglia worked in legacy media, her last job being that of editor-in-chief of the equestrian magazine Kavallo. Like many others, trusting the authorities and big pharma, she received a series of Covid injections that rendered her unable to work, in part due to Myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), which is, as per the CDC, ‘a disabling and complex illness’:

• People with ME/CFS are not able to function the same way they did before they became ill.

• ME/CFS changes people’s ability to do daily tasks, like taking a shower or preparing a meal.

• ME/CFS often makes it hard to keep a job, go to school, and take part in family and social life.

• ME/CFS can last for years and sometimes leads to serious disability.

• At least one in four ME/CFS patients is bed- or house-bound for long periods during their illness

Before coming down with ME/CFS, Ms. Cavaglia was an active woman in her mid-fifties, liked hiking and being outdoors. After vaccination, she was unable to function.

A few days ago, Daniela Cavaglia ended her life with the help of assistance-in-dying organisation ‘Exit’ on 7 Aug. 2023.

Legacy Media Spin: Lies of Omission

Why do I bring this up? There is one clear reason, and it has to do with yet another example of legacy media’s behaviour that is both disgustingly revolting and revelatory in terms of their complicity.

After some hesitation, Daniela Cavaglia admitted publicly that her MS/CFS commenced after ‘vaccination’ and that she blamed the Covid injections for her suffering.

Here, Inside Paradeplatz takes over, which technically brands itself as a publication focussed on ‘financial news in Zurich’, Switzerland (translation and emphases mine):

On 7 August 2023, Daniela Caviglia, the former editor-in-chief of the magazine Kavallo, made use of the assisted suicide through ‘Exit’ after a long period of suffering.

But what did she ultimately suffer from?

According to outlets such as Blick, kleinreport.ch, baseljetzt.ch, or bluewin.ch, Caviglia could no longer bear life with Long Covid and ME/CFS, the so-called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and felt abandoned by the health system and politics.

An influential Tages-Anzeiger science editor shared the Kleinreport article on the journalist's suicide, stating:

‘When there is no help, the only option is suicide. #Longcovid and ME/CFS continue to be taboo and ignored in rich Switzerland. A healthcare catastrophe.’

This is true insofar as Caviglia has also reported on it extensively in many posts on social media, in the big Blick interview in May and in her open letter to politicians and health care representatives.

But something was left out of these media reports:

What Caviglia also claimed on her X profile (i.e., Twitter) since at least January [2023] was that all the complaints started after Covid vaccination.

Caviglia used the hashtag #postvac in her X bio along with details of her professional history.

This was not a one-off. In fact, Ms. Cavaglia repeatedly tweeted and spoke out about her ordeal, as the following compilation shows:

I will be dead as a consequence of Covid vaccination before my PostVac [the name given to vaccine injuries by authorities] will be recognised

Until now, I did not reveal that my life-threatening illness was caused by the [Covid] vaccination when the Zertifikatspflicht [i.e., federal requirement of valid Covid Passports] reigned

Back to the piece in Inside Paradeplatz:

At the end of [her farewell tweets referred to a suit vs. the Swiss gov’t], she once again makes clear how her own faith in the state and fear of social ostracism led to silence about the post-vaccine syndrome.

‘I kept silent for a long time. Because I believed in the system and didn't want to play into the hands of the vaccination opponents.’

‘But when the #EDI [Swiss Interior Department] advised me this week to go to the social welfare office because my application hasn't even been seen yet, I lost my composition. I had to vent my anger out now.’

This anger and the symptoms of illness led Daniela Caviglia to such despair that life was hardly worth living in her eyes.

In addition, she was ashamed to talk about her PostVac diagnosis, even though she had every right to do so.

Part of Swiss Media is a Tad Better than its Peers (but that’s not nearly good enough)

At least, Inside Paradeplatz is now asking the right questions:

Blick was very close to her, conducted the aforementioned interview at her home, months after Caviglia had already spoken about PostVac.

But there was not a word about Caviglia in either the May or August coverage.

After this story, one cannot help but talk about the life-destroying division in society that the introduction of mandatory Covid Passports has wrought.

Without these coercive measures, the decision not to get vaccinated would not have been stigmatised. Nor would the discourse on vaccine damage be such a taboo that even [sic] legacy media shy away from reporting on it.

And last but not least, it would be much easier for vaccine-damaged people to seek help after all the suffering they have already experienced.

Who takes responsibility for this massive social damage?

Bottom Lines

I for one won’t hold my breath with respect to these concluding lines.

It is, however, one of, if not the, defining question of our time.

Personally, I envision two options, or a ‘red pill vs. blue pill’ situation akin to The Matrix:

We, as society, may decide to continue pretending that the so-called ‘Covid pandemic’ played out as politicians, ‘the Science™’, and legacy media continue to ‘report’ it.

Alternatively, we may finally come to grips with reality, which begins with a honest admission of the many blunders and failures, followed by (mass) resignations, a massive restructuring of public life and ‘media’, widely understood, and the initiation of a host of legal proceedings to get to the proverbial bottom of this.

Personally, while I think ‘special tribunals’ would actually be warranted, I remain wary of them, if only because I think that ‘regular’ trials would be better suited to restore, as far as that is possible, credibility to the tattered ‘system’.

I also think option two will only be taken, to paraphrase Winston Churchill’s quip about US policies in/during WW2, once all other options have been exhausted.

It will be a rough ride before anything changes.

Shame on politicians, ‘the Science™’, and legacy media.
