Footnote: A Brief Reminder to All Who 'Suggest' (Demand) a 'Pandemic Amnesty'
Or: historial analogies galore
A lot of people already weighed in on the notion of a ‘Pandemic Amnesty’. Without resorting to crude and distinctively family-unfriendly replies (which, don’t get me wrong, such an idea should be eliciting), a more succinct and poignant comment has been found.
Without much further ado, here it is, courtesy of friend-of-these-pages and ‘dissident journalist’ Thomas Oysmüller who currently publishes at tkp.at (in German); background on the bird dropping below the image:
Last time the pretence, ‘we didn’t know anything about it and didn’t do anything’ occurred only after the Russians made it to Berlin.
Should be different this time, though.
Translation provided by me (because Google’s automated suggestion is really crappy—hey, Elon Musk, please remove that feature with some other machine translator, e.g., DeepL, at least for German; there’s no substitute for human translations, but at least it’s better than GoogleTranslate…).
I'll comment later but first, today is Saturday so? Let's have fun!
Original song with lyrics in english, subtitles in italian
Enjoy!! 😅

Seeing as Google manipulates and censors search-rsults for political reasons, they cannot be trusted with translations.
Oysmüller is very much on point though, and it's not a "german thing" either, but universal.
