The gov't admits to massive increases in children's' mental health problems (+57%) and suicidal ideation (tripled), yet Branch Covidians see no fault on their part
I am proud to be a coronavirus denier, and my motto has always been and still is "3 U and 1 G," which means: unvaccinated, untested, unmasked, but gesund = healthy. The FPÖ is the only political force we can trust to re-examine the anti-democratic regime of the ill-fated cartel of the ÖVP, SPÖ, Neos, and Greens.
I share your personal views, although as regards the FPÖ's trustworthiness in these matters, we'll see. I agree that they may be 'our' one and last chance for anything like a judicial reckoning, but given the near-total capture of Austria's political-bureaucratic (and media) systems, it's definitely an uphill battle, to say nothing about the internal contradictions of the FPÖ…
The Austrian case may be extreme but in 2020-2023 (and beyond) plenty of Austrian covidians would have been right at home in California, Chicago, Boston, New York City, and so on. I personally have transcribed more videos than I can count of citizens, teachers, police officers, parents, you name it, detailing death by jabs, horrific injuries from the jabs, and even abjectly begging (and even several men crying) for their most basic human rights, all before a city council or county board or school board— said members black-masked in many instances, all offering their distressed citizens the aspect of ice-hearted zombies.
Nathan Fletcher (not usually masked), the then president of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors (California) comes to most brightly mind. This guy listens to a years long avalanche of public testimonies, including from a pediatric cardiac ICU (intensive care unit) nurse, for heavensakes, and up until the end of his term he was stll defending the covid protocols and the killing, injuring and otherwise pointless medical tyranny— in other words, treating the parade of his own constituents like a bunch of hicks, kooks, and dopes.
Hmm, I guess Nathan Fletcher wanted to take the Interesting Karma train.
Even the majority of the better among the covidians now "just don't want to talk about it."
Well, I do not think their hopes and expectations are in any way in line with the approaching tsunami of reality.
Oh, reality has a certain way of (re)asserting itself, and in this regard, it's going to be a quite interesting ethnographic/anthropological experience to observe the ongoing erosion of the efficacy of all the agit-prop right now. I do think that, once the implications of the poison/death juices can no longer be denied (as most appear to be doing, i.e., as a society, we're still in the denial stage, as per the Kübler-Ross stages of grief), the demands for justice™, voiced in anger, will be a spectacle to behold.
Personally, I could do without any vindication here, esp. as the initial part of said anger will, likely, be directed at those who stood firm against the poison/death jabs for the simple reason of scapegoating (and thus externalising, or projecting, one's own culpability). In case you consider this a farcical replay of the scorn and condensation heaped upon 'the unvaccinated' a few years ago, well, that's because the powers-that-be will likely (ab)use the time-tested way to deflect the blame.
As to Mr. Fletcher, well, call me surprised (don't).
I hate to say this, but all the covidians I know are now all in on asking AI how to pick their own nose. lol. This isn't exactly a reply to your comment, just my general observation of late.
It (FPÖ) echoes how the Sweden Democrats acted until they were invited "with the elbow" into being a member but not really of the current government:
They would bombard the Socialist Democrat government with interpellations (we have an almost identical system as the one you describe) on issues embarassing to the government, and the SD were regularly called out in media as abusing their right to hold the government responsible for its own actions.
I'm not surprised though. Most journalists, teachers and such see freedoms as something you have as long as you don't try to exercise them.
The one thing that the FPÖ hasn't done with virtually all other political issues--is exactly what you write. There's a bit on this and that, but no systematic, party-wide approach to this nonsense. Why, you may infer? Well, my two cents are as follows: from 2000-06 and again from 2017-19, the FPÖ was actually in gov't, hence part of them are actually complicit in gov't abuses. This is also what sets the FPÖ apart, to a certain extent, from most, if not all, other right-wing™ extremist factions that the juste milieu claims to sees everywhere.
As to the notions of theory vs. practice (sic), well, what else could be said? It's a prime example of what the Marxist revolutionary George Lukacs called 'reification'--theoretical musings can become reality™ if only enough people think (pretend) them to be true™. Here's the rub with that one, though: belief or pretensions doesn't ipso facto render things true, as anyone who ever watched a child play pirates or princesses knows (the same applies to the transgender nonsense), which is a little known factoid that gives away the loony BS masquerading as revolutionary thought (sic).
Maybe a little truth will seep out from these parliamentary queries. I still haven’t seen any coverage yet of the massive excess deaths in the past couple years though, but this start of earlier more obviously connected incidents like mental illness might see some daylight. I mean we’ve known since 2023 that those who took the shots are dying at higher rates even accounting for age etc.: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/eci.14136 . Yet nobody says anything.
At least the people in Austria started dissenting early on—barely half took boosters in most states, everybody quit masks as soon as it was allowed (and most weren’t wearing masks on transit in Vienna in Spring 2022 despite Ludwig’s orders), and even the local SPÖ in Altmünster OÖ sponsored a dissenting opinion talk, catering to local opinion rather than national dictates. Compared to ourrecent visit back to Seattle, where we were frequently required to put on masks and basically forced to use hand sanitizer several times. All doctors there were fired who didn’t take the shots, same with police, govt employees, teachers, daycare workers, etc. Austrians may seem obedient but they are less compliant than many others!
Re the mental illness aspect: I'd add that my personal experience is that more and more people seem to unable to speak and write (and thus think beforehand) in coherent, sustained, and argumentatively consistent ways. I do work in academia, and I regularly share conversations, thoughts, etc. with students and fellow professors alike--and that notion is often accompanied by people, seemingly, losing their temper much faster compared to the pre-poison/death juice years. Mind you, these are personal impressions, but consider that anecdotes are the proximal origins of data.
As to Austria, well, given what you write above, which also chimes with my experience, I actually think that since about 75% of Austrians (over 18) took any number of poison/death jabs as opposed to the 25% who didn't, and because the latter massively, and in a sustained manner, voiced their discontent both on the streets and using the avenues available under the constitution (e.g., massive numbers of comments to pending legislation, voting out the bums), I concur: Austrians may be bamboozled and pampered in many ways like their fellow Westerners, but a sizeable share actually did learn the proverbial lessons of history.

I heartily concur with your conclusion.

That is a very interesting observation. I'm not sure I agree, but maybe I do.

Of course no-one should be surprised (Norway also has such a system, see https://www.datatilsynet.no/rettigheter-og-plikter/den-registrertes-rettigheter/rett-til-innsyn/) but your right™ to freedom of information may be denied if the authority (sic) in question claims some higher force, too much effort to be required, or, as I'm wont to think, it would be too embarrassing.
