Covid jabs 'considered safer than other vaccinations', According to Swiss Public Health Chief
'20 Minutes' Ran At Least One Significant Piece This Week, With the Other Article Being Cheap Pharma Shilling that Contains a Dreadful Admission
This really happened. Swiss tabloid 20 Minuten, which is available ‘for free’ throughout the country (it’s not really ‘free’, but paid for by advertisers), ran two pieces of actual journalism that put all the millions, if not billions, of dollars poured into legacy media and ‘papers of record’ to shame:
A quite detailed portrait about the ‘reality’ of Cov-Vaxx Injuries and an accompanying analysis by (retired) epidemiologist Michael Tanner, MD (70).
In the following, I provide translations of both pieces; as always, emphases and bottom lines mine.
She Had a Good Career—Till the Covid Vaccine Stopped It
By Claudia Blumer, 20minuten.ch, 15 July 2023
Any vaccination can have serious and lasting side effects, and the Covid vaccines are no exception. Tina Eismann (45) is one of those affected.
If she could turn back time, specifically to autumn 2021, she would forego the Covid vaccination. But back then she saw it differently. Economist Tina Eismann worked ten hours a day and went to the gym almost every day. ‘I wanted the [Covid] certificate’, she says.
After the first shot, symptoms commenced almost immediately. Fever, pain, nausea, a rash all over her upper body. ‘I was not an anti-vaxxer, but I knew that my body was sensitive to certain foods and medicines’, she says. That’s why she would have preferred not to take the Covid vaccine. She approached several doctors about her concerns, but received no satisfactory answers. Her concerns were all but dismissed.
It is very rare that severe and persistent adverse reactions occur, but by far surprising, according to epidemiologist Marcel Tanner in an interview with 20 Minuten [see below]: ‘We know that such cases exist. There is no vaccination and no medical intervention without this risk.’
‘Do you still have a cold?’
At first glance, Tina Eismann seems healthy and vital. A sporty woman in her mid-forties, she is in a good mood. Only at second glance do the tense posture and the tense facial expression become apparent. She is permanently tired (chronic fatigue syndrome), and her tendons and joints are chronically inflamed. It is therefore difficult to use a computer keyboard. Her voice is scratchy as her larynx is also inflamed [gee, I wonder why that sounds like RFK, jr.’s condition]. Tina Eismann lives with two cats in Zurich, and ‘at least they are happy that I am always at home now’. She herself longs for a challenge, responsibility. She made a career at Canon for seven years, most recently as project manager. ‘I still had a lot of plans’, she says.
Tina Eismann grew up in Nuremberg, Germany, where she and her brothers also studied. At 30, she moved to Zurich, Switzerland, out of love, and for the past 15 years it has been her home. Tina’s whole family has been vaccinated, no one has experienced any serious side effects. The elderly parents do not quite realise what is happening to their daughter. ‘Child, do you still have a cold?’, they ask.
Insert by Swissmedic: Almost 17,000 AE Reports
In Germany, almost 9,000 people have applied to the state for support because of severe adverse reactions to Covid vaccination. In just under 10% of the cases, applications were approved, which happened a few days ago. In Switzerland, 260 people have applied to the Federal Office of Public Health for help because of severe vaccine damage. The examination of the applications is ongoing. FOPH spokesman Daniel Dauwalder cannot say when it will be completed. Swissmedic has received 16,855 reports of adverse reactions to vaccines, and almost 17m vaccine doses have been administered. The rate of suspected adverse vaccine reactions is therefore about one per thousand. In 61.5% of the reports, the cases are not serious. In 38.5% (6490 cases), however, they are.
Tina Eismann is certain that doctors and authorities did not mention the risk of severe vaccination side effects. ‘Knowing what I know now, I would not have gotten vaccinated.’ Today, she wishes the federal government would help those affected without red tape. Her sick leave insurance money is about to expire, and the IV [Swiss Federal disability insurance] has not yet reviewed her pension application. If this does not happen soon, she will have to go to the social welfare office. She can only apply to the federal government for help when all other possibilities have been exhausted. And to obtain such clarification from the federal government takes a long time.
The doctors who treated Tina Eismann did not want to admit the connection to the vaccination. Covid vaccination was not mentioned in any of the patient files. She assumes that the doctors did not report her case to Swissmedic. Now she has recently been receiving treatment at the vaccine-critical doctors’ association Aletheia in Ebikon in the Canton of Lucerna [about which I wrote back in March 2023]. ‘Here I am taken seriously, the doctor tries out different things. After all, these vaccines were new, so you also have to try new methods.’
‘Unfortunately, doctors do not always fully report AEs’.

Epidemiologist Marcel Tanner on the risks and opportunities of the Covid vaccination and why the vaccination makes sense despite the rare side effects.
[20 Minuten] Mr Tanner, a woman portrayed by 20 Minuten has been unable to work since the Covid vaccination. Before that she was in great shape.
Yes, there are tragic cases like that. I also know people who have been affected, including a doctor in Germany. She has been bedridden since the vaccination. Fortunately, such cases are extremely rare. Less than half a per every thousand of vaccinated people are affected by severe lasting side effects.
[20 Minuten] Did you expect that this would happen?
Yes, every vaccination has a risk of severe and rare side effects. There is no vaccination that is absolutely free of side effects. This also applies to pharmaceutical products in general. The side effects do not speak against vaccination, but they are part of the assessment of how vaccination can be used. In the case of vaccination in general, the state makes a risk-benefit assessment at the societal level. This weighing was clearly positive in the case of the Covid vaccines after extensive studies in phase 3, and this is still the case today, after millions of Covid vaccinations administered.
[20 Minuten] Was the population informed about the risk of severe side effects?
Yes. When the vaccination was introduced, the risk profile was outlined. This information was and is publicly available and has also always been described in the approval process in the countries. People would have to know that there are risks with every vaccination and also with every medication. In addition, there was a counselling service in all vaccination centres where patients with such questions could consult a doctor in a protected setting. In general, Covid vaccination is even considered safer than other vaccinations that have been in use for a long time.
[20 Minuten] Tina Eismann had food allergies and was therefore unsure. Should she not have been vaccinated?
A food allergy does not generally speak against the Covid vaccination. However, it must be taken into account.
[20 Minuten] If the complaints [sic] start a few hours after the vaccination, is it clear that the vaccination is the cause?
If the person was healthy beforehand and the temporal connection exists, then this seems plausible, but this does not mean that the cause is certain. Whether the side effects are directly related to the vaccination must be carefully clarified. Doctors must therefore consistently check and, above all, report vaccination side effects and complications. Unfortunately, reports are not always complete, which makes comprehensive investigations difficult.
[20 Minuten] Do you understand the frustration of those affected who got vaccinated at the recommendation of the federal government?
It is very tragic for those affected. That is one of the reasons why I have always been against compulsory vaccination. Every person must have the right and the opportunity to decide for themselves and to weigh up the risks and benefits on an individual level. I am also in favour of the federal government comprehensively clarifying possible vaccination damage and swiftly examining and responding to applications for compensation due to vaccination damage.
Bottom Lines: Turtles All the Way Down
The first piece is—journalism; the second one is—more gaslighting.
Of course, the latter was to be expected as Dr. Tanner is as much one of the members of ‘Team da Science™’ as his peers at the FDA, the CDC, the EMA, and the like.
One of the key markers of such doublespeak are the pontifications about ‘my body, my choice’ but the refusal to countenance the introduction of Covid Passports to coerce people into getting jabbed against their better judgements.
I think the most egregious part—which also shows that Ms. Blumer is a part-time journalist—is Dr. Tanner’s assertion that,
in general, Covid vaccination is even considered safer than other vaccinations that have been in use for a long time.
To drive home this incredible statement I’ve kept the bold-face.
Underneath the first piece by Ms. Blumer, there was a poll; here are the results around 9 p.m. (European time) on 15 July 2023:
If the above poll is any indication, 24% of responded to have experienced (severe) AEs.
Dr. Tanner boldly stated that the Covid jabs are ‘even considered safer than other vaccinations’. No data or studies were cited, but I’m sure Dr. Tanner ‘feels’ this is the right answer.
Obviously, Ms. Blumer also sees it that way as she didn’t ‘press’ Dr. Tanner on this issue.
Therefore, while my sympathies go out to Ms. Eismann and her fellow sufferers, shame on you, Dr. Tanner, all your ‘peers’ in what is cynically labelled ‘public health’, and all the other perpetrators involved.
Also, remember: the Covid jabs are ‘even considered safer than other vaccinations’, and since we also know that, with perhaps the exception of the dreadful HPV product (Gardasil), these aren’t placebo-controlled in terms of harm and/or safety.
Buyer beware.
Also: let’s keep on naming names here.
That headline.
Here is data from covid zero Western Australia, put in context for an international audience: covid jabs result in 24x PER DOSE reported injuries than all other jabs combined. These harms CANNOT be due to covid: https://vicparkpetition.substack.com/p/the-worlds-eyes-are-on-western-australia
