BREAKING: Covidistan's Health Minister Mückstein to resign--press statement at 3:30 p.m. (local time, to be updated soon)
According to media reports, Mückstein is against the revocation of many mandates on 5 March
According to multiple media reports across Covidistan, Health Minister Mückstein, who called for a press meeting at 3:30 p.m. (local time), will resign. Reportedly unwilling to continue to support the régime’s revocation of many mandates come Saturday (5 March), Mückstein will go. Good riddance.
Brief reaction (my me): of course, the People’s Party is willing to await who the Greens will nominate next; certainly, opposition parties are more or less livid-to-rabid about the third reshuffling of the cabinet in about two years.
Personally, I think that now that Mückstein’s answers to the Court have been ‘leaked’, it’s perhaps easier for him to go now, as opposed to in a few weeks once the ÖVP-dependent state and de facto state legacy media will open fire.
At this point, it looks quite certain to me that his untimely resignation (less than 12 months into the job) has to do with, of course, mismanagement and incompetence, but esp. with the safeguarding of the Greens’ electoral chances later this year.
More soon…
Is it too much to hope that his replacement won't be as bad or worse? In all events, it is nice to see a bad person step down.
lets hope fauci follows soon.
