Austro-Covidian Régime Mocks the Electorate
By Thomas Oysmüller, TKP.at, 22 Dec. 2023 [source]
The propaganda was not efficient enough. This is the result of the Austrian Covid processing. The ÖVP’s ‘Let’s Reclaim the Wayward Covid-Denialist Voters’ campaign failed spectacularly.
The ÖVP would like to be re-elected by those Austrians who remained unvaccinated or who have been forced to get the jabs—But the ÖVP won't succeed. There isn't really anything anymore that needs to be said about the big ‘Corona Reckoning’ [orig. Aufarbeitung] that was presented in the Federal Chancellery on Thursday. Because everything stays the same.
Nothing, but a Whole Lot of It
For months, the Austrian Academy of Sciences prepared a report to ‘come to terms with’, and prepare for, ‘future crises’. There isn't much in it. The (political) communication could have worked better. One could have gotten the impression that there was a strange threesome between science, media, and politics. There is a certain irony in this, since the Academy is supporting the Chancellor's political performance. But, thus the report’s findings, it turns out that politicians should have explained the vaccine mandates better, and then it wouldn't have been so polarising.
Naturally, the report is devoid of any of the real hot topics of Covid policy:
No evaluation of the danger of Covid-19 compared to other viral diseases
No evaluation of the benefits of masks, vaccinations, tests, quarantines, lockdowns, etc.
No evaluation of fear propaganda (100,000 dead were announced)
No evaluation of the bending over backwards of ‘science™’ and ‘experts™’
No evaluation of vaccine injuries and fair compensation for the victims
No disclosure about personal entanglements between politics, pharmaceuticals, and the media
These are just a few points that show the superficiality of the report. As expected, everything remains within the limits of what is permitted. Mask obligations, vaccine mandates, and mass testing are not examined .
[via Twitter, Thomas Oysmüller added the following:]
As expected, this tax-financed report from the Academy of Sciences is a mockery, not a reconciliation. There is a maximum of pseudo-criticism.
Essentially, at no point does the report stray from what was prescribed from above, masks, tests, injections, lockdowns, Paxlovid all remain unquestioned and taboo. A joke. A bad one.
The political-media complex should really understand: every ‘reflection’ on your part about Covid does not reduce the pressure to come to terms with it, but increases it. Logical, because from being an alpha journalist to a top politician, you are heavily burdened with guilt. Instead of reflecting, they should actually have to take responsibility.
What is noticeable: The Greens, SPÖ, and NEOS are hiding straight away and say nothing about it. They know well that they can't win anything. For a few but loud citizens [meant are the hyperventilating ‘experts™’ and their camp followers in legacy media], Covid is still highly dangerous. They are currently in the ‘worst wave ever’ and want mandatory masks, vaccination campaigns, and Paxlovid in stock. The people know that they have been cheated, but don't want to hear about it anymore. Even if the government wanted to, they couldn't do it right. Only Herbert Kickl and the FPÖ stand to gain from this charade.
Painful delicacies can also be found in this self-reflection: school closures remain ‘highly effective’” that's what simulation researchers tell us.
Needless to say, Nehammer couldn't bring himself to apologise. But some things would have been done differently ‘with today’s knowledge’. Anyway. But what exactly is meant by this remains unclear. And Nehammer assures us that everything was guided by the desire to ‘save lives’.
Who still believes him?

Bottom Lines
There’s not a lot of runway left.
Some of the issues that were left out by the Academy of Sciences—and about which legacy media refuses to report on—incl. the Court of Audit’s (Rechnungshof), which in a series of reports earlier this year already blasted the incompetence of the Covid régime:
This isn’t just an exercise in mockery or gaslighting (although both aspects play a role).
This is a declaration of utter incompetence as well as of intellectual and moral bankruptcy.
There’s really nothing left that these people—the government and their camp followers in ‘the science™’ and legacy media—won’t do to try to extend their continued relevance.
Yes, things are bad right now, and I suppose that they’ll get worse before too long, too, before something breaks and change comes.
One thing, though, is clear: what goes around, eventually will come around, too.
These people are all existing on borrowed time, and before too long, they’ll be gone, or rather: swept away.
